Absolutely lovely pieces and super fun projects to repurpose some older frames that have served their purpose.

Glad you found me too Brandy. I do a little of everything here...mainly into painting currently so haven't posted alot of assemblage lately. Keep on checking in to see what I come up with! Thanks for finding me too!

It was a score...and perfect for assemblage pieces. I think I have to keep my eyes open for a few more. Right now I have an over abundance of iPhone & iPad boxes to work with! Thanks for watching Cindy!

I love all 3 of these and those frames were a lucky find. Your work is very neat and precise and yet so creative. Love the layering and you found such fun items to use. I have been trying to find the brown wax you use on line,but no luck yet. What's the company name ? Thanks for posting Denise. : )

Thank you so much Ina...I hope you have fun trying these out. The wax I use is from Michaels Calk Paint line and is called Antique Wax by Art Minds. It's really nice to work with and I believe you can fine it on Amazon...though I like using Michaels coupons to buy mine. Thank you for watching!

Love this video. I have been gathering my whole life (LOL) now I want to assemble. I have a small issue to get past, I find it hard to imagine permanently adhering an old piece, but I just need to get over it. What glue do you use to adhere the heavier pieces to the glass?
@cerropaint6 жыл бұрын
Hi Su...Yes there is that thought about old things, I like to think I'm giving old things a new life. 🙂 It's a great to to assemble family mementos and create a story in a piece of art. I use matte gel mediums for adhereing papers and use E6000 for the heavier items, it's pretty durable and doesn't yellow. Hope that helps, happy to answer any other questions. Have fun assembling!👩🏻🎨...and thanks for watching!

I have no idea at the moment, my partner is making me a camera mount for filming. I also need too gather supplies. U wukk be posting my journal pages before I do any assemblage
@cerropaint7 жыл бұрын
I literally use a yardstick, clamped onto a tripod, with quake hold puddy to hold my phone in place to shoot videos...it was a quick fix that worked great so its my mounting system. Journal pages are a great idea...looking forward to it.
