Thank You for an easy to follow assembly video. My stand arrived with no assembly manual so your video was much appreciated. I am glad you warned viewers not to cut the two zip ties holding the frame. Thanks again. Well done.

Another video suggested having the saw face the DeWalt name on the stand - appears to have something to do with lining up better with the stop fence. Not sure, but thought I might mention it. Thanks - great job and really helpful.

Thanks Walt, I was having trouble lowering my saw the first time I tried and in the video you demonstrate that you have to lift it first, then push down with the red handle down. Thanks again!

Great video. Definitely saved me a lot of time and frustration. Thanks for the warning about not cutting the zip ties on the stand until fully assembled. I probably would have done that first thing without your warning.

I believe Dewalt almost got this right. I assembled my DCS781 180 degrees opposed to the way it was shown in the instructions. The reason I did this, was to take advantage of the work support roller which spans & matches the table, much better is this position. This helps support and cut 8, 10, maybe 12 inch boards without them falling off the table after the cut.

I totally agree with you. I am going to turn my saw 180 degrees otherwise it just doesn’t look right.

Look at how the back board of the saw lines up with the board extensions. It's offset. What's up with that? Also, I noticed that the center bar on the stand isn't centered at all making me think it is that way for a reason.

Hi Walt. Good video thank you. I stuck the longer extender rod on the wrong side and it’s stuck

A few comments, first a great video thank you. Second I have the DWX 779 miter saw and by facing it in the direction as shown in the picture the stop plate and supports are offset to what I will call the back of the stand. Although the supports will still work I will lose a few inches. Basically I just need to turn the saw around. This may change depending on each different saw installed on the stand, just an FYI. Also no big deal the horizontal bars had to be adjusted to mount the saw but again it may depend on the saw being installed. Thanks again for the great video.

The handle lost major cool points. The big screw was so hard to put in I had to use my foot to turn it.
