I noticed there is some confusion about this. Some sites call it the 6 x 4 and others call it the 4 x 6. I suppose technically it's either but the other version being out causes the confusion. Hi great, guide, I built one yesterday, but I'm unsure about the window. I'm in UK too and there's a massive black rubber seal in the kit, presumably for the window, but there is no way it will locate this on the inner and outer window frames and there is no mention of this in the instructions or in the included parts list in the manual, but I've seen some videos using self adhesive weather strip to the outer frame but again no mention of this in the manual I don't see you adding any seals or weather strip, doesn't it leak? Appreciate your help.

This is interesting because mine didn't come with the rubber seal or any weather stripping. My window works just fine without it and does not leak. So it might be possible that they changed the design slightly but forgot to leave out the runner strip in some batches.

@branded01. Is your shed the Keter “Darwin” as in this video? I need to slot the 4 x 6 shed in a narrow gap and to have those screws on the inside would be a big help? Hope you can point me in the right direction! Thanks in advance.

Quick to build and low maintainence. Yea I'm still liking mine 👍

So how did you attach the gutter rail on the side facing the fence as it would have to be moved out in order for you to get to it I presume?????
@PhillWyattProjects6 ай бұрын
Yea I assembled it out from the fence then pushed it back one corner at a time.

I am waiting for mine to be delivered. By chance could you tell me the size of the plastic insert for the window? I would like to upgrade it to something I little less flimsy, if you have an Amazon recommendation to replace it with I would kindly appreciate it.

How far away from the fence did you put yours? If I put mine on a gravel pad vs. Concrete do you think I could still move it after doing back side closer to fence?
@PhillWyattProjectsАй бұрын
@@shalereider1113 mine is about 30cm from the fence. Not sure about how it would slide over gravel though to be honest.

Hi Phil great stuff,just wanted to know how you screwed the bottom of the shed next to fence,do you pull it away from the fence then put it back ?? Maria
@PhillWyattProjects3 жыл бұрын
Hi Maria, yes I pulled it out a bit to add the screws. Then pushed it back.

How did you add roof near fence and how did you drill base near fence . Can it be built then moved to position
@PhillWyattProjects Жыл бұрын
I pulled it out a couple of feet from the fence then pushed it back afterwards. Just pushed one corner at a time.

This has been really useful. I was worried that I would need to hire someone to assemble it for me. I at the least thought it would require two people. I plan to assemble it soon. My only other concern is that I have very little 'wriggle' room to get to all 4 corners and this may be a problem when inserting one of the roof panels. Is this shed light enough to manoevre forward and back to get to the back/ roof?
@PhillWyattProjects2 жыл бұрын
Hi Melaine it's quite straightforward to assemble just make sure you do it on a level base that really helps. It can be manoeuvred I shifted it a bit at a time to access the part near my fence then shifted it back. I would not recommend trying to lift it but pushing a corner a few cm at a time is possible if required. Hope this helps.

I'm having a similar dilemma, and not sure whether I should buy this or not. I have an odd little garden but can only fit this on a platform between the corner of the fence and a big oak tree! I will have only a few cm wiggle room and there is no way I can walk around it to put the outside screws. The only way I can think of is while I am putting the panels next to the fence screw them in one at a time straight into the floor. That way I don't have to do that step after the whole thing is put together.... alternatively put the whole shed on wheels!!! that may actually work =D
@MrBobWareham Жыл бұрын
I was expecting you to seal the bottom panels to stop water coming in?and are the screws rust resistant?
@PhillWyattProjects Жыл бұрын
You don't need to seal the bottom panels because they sit inside a channel that allows water to flow out. They screws have no rust on them so far.
