Assembling Ikea Friheten Sofa Bed and Klangshamn long cushion.
Our small studio apartment leaves very little to fill out but makes us get more creative in the process. Having a hybrid function of a furniture is a must so we got a sofa bed. As its name suggests, it can become a sofa (during the day) and a bed (during the night).
It may look like a tough piece to assemble but it is possible to put it together alone. Just have to be mindful on handling it so it won’t fall and tumble on you!

hello, would 2 toppers work better for comfort? one kept in storage for guests who may prefer a softer bed? thanks

I mean having two different toppers for different purposes will depend on your needs. If you have the space to store and have the need for a second thicker topper, then go for it! In my case, we try to save as much space as possible due to our small apartment room. So we had to compromise with just one.

Can you choose which side you want to bolt it to make the L shape to the right side or left side?

How’s the sleeping comfort when compared with klaghamn and without klaghamn

I say it depends on the material, since the one that we have here isn’t cotton so it’s not as cool and nice to feel without Klaghamn. The topper itself doesn’t provide much padding but it definitely feels better, just not a night and day difference.

Hi, quick question. Would these boxes fit in an SUV? I have about 65 cubic feet of space in my SUV, I have a 2021 QX50

My car is slightly smaller overall and I had to do two round trips from IKEA to my apartment to get all the boxes. Unless you have a truck with a very spacious bed, I suggest to prepare mentally to do two round trips like me or just get all the boxes delivered to your place.

How is the klaghamn? Is it better than a 7 cm memory foam topper?

There are definitely much better options if you want a dedicated topper. This just gets the job done plus it can be stored as a body pillow of some sort. Only get this if you have little to no space to store away the topper when not in use.
