Assembling MSQC's Turnabout Granny Squares Quilt (Sewing Livestream)

When I started quilting, I saw this tutorial from MSQC and it went on my bucket list. Here I am, several years later, and I've not tackled it...and that ends in 2025! I've grabbed a cherished (some may say hoarded) jelly roll from my stash, some background & border fabric, and getting this process started! This is a big project - and I'm going to break it up into 2 parts (so you can sew along with me, if you'd like!). In this livestream, I'll tackle making the blocks - and next week (in part 2) - I'll put those blocks together into the finished quilt top!

BECCA, when i was learning to piece blocks together rows, we sewed a strip to the right and bottom each block , then sewed the rows together. Made it so easy to have full strips on the left side and bottom rows. Hope I said it so you could understand what I meant.
