Assembly and install of a Harmar AL010 Scooter Lift

Harmar offer an array of different styles of vehicle scooter and power wheelchair lifts and hoists to cover most vehicles. Today we got to assemble and install the AL010 lightweight half automatic outside hitch mounted scooter lift for a customer. We were not too impressed with the assembly part of the lift, but the install went just as expected, very similar to any other outside hitch mounted lift.

I installed one of these because it was the only one that was compatible with the customers car. I was surprised of the cheap straps and manual folding as well. Thank you

Totally, it's not the best lift in the world as in functions but at least our customer has a choice between a lift and not I guess. Not a fan of Harmar making me totally assemble the lift for what we have to pay for it. Thanks for watching.

Ikea for sure Clive😁 I'm not shy of work by any means but when it takes two people to assemble a damn lift then what the hell am I paying for.

Wow!! Those ARE cheap, crap cam buckle straps!

Right! I would advise the customer to use some ratchet straps for better safety to be honest.
