How did you cut the decals in the front air vents? It seems really tricky part.

Yes, the vents on tops of the fenders was challenging. I placed them and let them dry a little before slicing and working them into the slats. It’s all about time and patience. I have more decals coming and I’ll do a video on how to work with hard applications. Thanks for watching, I appreciate the support.

Great build mr. James. I see you have all the parts pre cut and painted. How do you know the number of the sprue that you cutted from?

I think I understand your question. I’ve built this model 5 times now with different decals. I know where each part goes now by memory. If you watched the 1971 Demon review, I built that one with white glue, now I will paint each piece and assemble the model.

@@ScaleModelExperiment i have the same kit and the madpanda livery. The color is black matt. So i want your advise. Do i have to spray black matt and then clear gloss for the decals and after that matt clear? Or can i go with gloss black, decals and then matt clear coat? Thanks in advance

@CRGR7 decals need a smooth surface to adhere to. Flat (not shiny) paint is not smooth so therefore I suggest painting gloss black, apply the decals then semi gloss or flat coat the body.

Hello, took this decals and will be doing model like this. But instruction is pretty strange (some numbered decals doesn’t showed in it). And did you paint back of car by black paint or used decals from this kit?

Yes I did paint part of the car black before starting with decals. My advice is to study the pictures to ensure that the numbers on the decals make sense. There are no instructions .
