I have both.. with vr set. Since the console is much easier to use, it often ends up being that. Rarely any updates, and you just jump in quick and are shooting/driving/etc. However there are benefits to the pc... Certain games, and that you can use it for more things. Some where a mouse is just better. Especially strategy games and internet use

Is it possible to change the traffic cars in more common cars? Most of the videos that show this AC mod, the traffic cars are made by supercars, that's a little unreal 😅. I don't have a gamer PC, so i'm Just asking by curiosity

Need to find and add the cars to the game. Biggest thing that puts me off AC and all these moddable racing games is the time you waste curating your own content.

@@nightdriver7216 that's exactly what made Assetto Corsa so big in the community. Modding. If AC is so alive these times it's because of the community and the modding. It's not that hard. Besides, you can make your own combinations. Combos are endless and a non moddeable (if that word exists) game will never beat that.

I bet this is a Turbosquid model hitting probably 1 million polygons. Unfortunately these mods barely resemble the actual thing physics-wise. Several Assetto Corsa mods suffer from this problem.

@@nightdriver7216 I know and I agree. Too many modders encrypting their stuff (looks like URD will as well) because of this. Actually good mods seem to be mostly paid ones now, but the majority of the free mods for AC is pretty trash nowadays.

Which game did the modder steal this 3D model from? Car barely came out. Track is cool though, reminds me of NFS Hot Pursuit's Rocky Pass. The sound shows AC's age sadly. It's not that accurate and it's muffled as if from a low quality recording. A far cry away from the GT3 R's sound in ACC.

Can’t launch the race: model “content/cars/cky_porsche992_gt3rs_2023/collider.kn5” requires a missing DLC. Pretty new to the mods here, am I missing something simple?

Yes, DLC pack for AC from Steam. Nobody knows which one exactly(except modders), so the best option is to buy all dlcs

@@MotoGamesTV thanks a ton for the reply. I actually just got it to work by replacing the "collider.kn5" file with a collider file from another car I have that launches. Completely bypassed needing to buy the DLC content and it works great!
