@@KumoGoesFast in real races, the DRS only opens if it follows a car while being less than 1 second. A leading car cannot open the rear wing.

@@cxns155 at RBR the DRS line for the DRS zone after T1 is the same for the start/finish DRS zone. if you got DRS before T1, even if you perform an overtake into T1 you are still allowed to open your DRS. the car following however is not able to, which increases the gap you just created. I don't watch DTS, i watch the races and I race this track on AC. It's just a race against AI anyway, every car is usually allowed to open their DRS regardless of rules

@@michaelcurtis7156 you can yes but its a lot of work and you have to do it yourself. You can record AI lines which should be done with the car you intend to race. Once you have recorded the lines its very fun but like i said you have to plan a lot of time making these AI lines

There's a reason. The F1 games have to appeal to the masses and be made to work with controllers first. The sims have a niche audience and are made for wheels and focus on the quality of the experience.

I'd say the handling of the Kunos and community-made F1 cars are thousands of times better, but the AI in AC is not great. Oh how I wish the F1 games had handling like this. It's got the whole immersion and feeling of being in an actual Grand Prix right, but I just hate how the handling is somehow made more difficult than it should be.

Pretty sure air corridors are routes planes are allowed to take, if you mean slipstream then assetto does have it and also allows you to customise it's intensity and if you're talking about drs there's a mod which adds f1 style rules for any cars that use it

AC has drs, Kers, etc... rFactor 2 which has by far the best FFB just has drs.. Both are sims and F1 22 is not. Still like to try iRacing one day.
