This is not my saying, this is the Prophet ﷺ's one and it is written in the Quran: "O believers! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. Should you disagree on anything, then refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if you ˹truly˺ believe in Allah and the Last Day. This is the best and fairest resolution." (S4, An Nisaa, verse 59). As for the Ahadith, please see: Sahih Bukhari n°2955, 7144, 693, 696, 7142, 2957 and 7053, Sahih Muslim n°1839, 1851, 1836, 1844, 1846, 1843 and 1849/56 and At-Tirmidhi n°2225.
