I have good childhood memories from playing this game with my friends back in the 90's on Super Nintendo. I picked it up on Steam yesterday and must say this version is in the top 5 fighting games of all times.

Very well explained and easy to follow. I've had alot of people suggest the game to me, but when it comes to looking at fighting games these days, it's way to intimidating and complicated for me. Had this in my Steam Library for quite some time, played it for a while, enjoyed it, but always felt that my enjoyment was missing in fighting games due to my approach with them. I'm super casual when it comes to fighting games and I've always wished I had some degree of proficiency with them to maybe attempt multiplayer. Amazing video. I'm so excited for this game, yet I had been having trouble fully understanding and following the combo system. This video explains perfectly all the information I was missing. And on top of that, it's a new Assist Me! episode. :D The story is PERFECT. It fits so seamlessly into the Assist Me! universe while bringing in KI universe stuff like Ultratech. I'm excited to see where this goes.

While I won't be getting an Xbone anytime soon, I admit this was a pretty damn good video. The skits were a little long, but I love the content. You explained the mechanics of the game, while getting straight to the point, without having to rely on humor or cheesy jokes to keep people interested. The video was also well made. The KV Meter is most interesting so far. When I think of Combo Breakers for a moment, I do realize the similarity that Dead or Alive borrowed from that mechanic with the use of holds but holds are rather hard to execute and I normally end up getting locked into a longer combo because of it. But if you note down the KV meter's growth rate and the enemy's movement it may be useful and executing combo breakers. I want to try this out at the very least in realizing whether this idea is beneficial to avoidance of long combos, or if game feel will turn out to be the better determine the likelihood of an opponent's attack sequence; I might still be a mind game in the end though.

Just played killer Instinct, as a fan of ONLY the original game on the arcade and snes, I can tell you without a doubt this game is amazing...graphics wise, you can literally see raindrops bounce off thunders head. Game play wise this plays similar to Old KI with new mechanics, brilliant!

I am somewhat in the same condition(coming from injustice). I was used to simple directional controls for specials(down+forward) while the KI and Street Fighter have diagonal in between. Been adjusting to it since then.

Great at all MK games, alright on any Street Fighter but damn....this game put me through the ringer after trying the "Campaign-style" mode a few times. Couldn't make it past 15 Globe turns without being demolished
