Remember this acronym from last month? AAC: Augmentative and Alternative Communication.
Some individuals who have difficulty communicating after an injury do best with high-tech AAC options, like a computer, tablet or phone with specialized software to help the user communicate. Many of these individuals may also need alternative ways to access their device such as switch scanning, head tracking or eye gaze.
