If Mecca is not the footprint of the Buddha, then how can there be such a footprint in Sri Lanka? Similar to some words .The author of the Quran wants to return to Buddhism, but it is the responsibility of the present day Muslim society to correct that mistake even if he does not know Buddhism. The Tripitaka also mentions how a footprint of Vahase existed in Sri Lanka and that there was a footprint of the Buddha coming to Mecca and saying 'Allah is Mecca'.
