You don’t have to justify Myra’s absence. Anyone that has had a baby knows how much of a change it is ❤ I have 6 children that are 2 years apart and those younger years were hard but they are almost all grown now, the years go by so quickly so please enjoy them

You bought your home with the dream of having all of your family together. You accomplished that dream and made it work for 6 years. Of course your home is sentimental, however with time comes change. You have a baby now, your siblings are older, your going to have more kids, etc. What used to work then maybe isn’t going to work now. These are the hardest type of conversations to have especial with Latino family’s. I hope you guys find the perfect solution for your future home life 💞

Got pregnant at 15, had my daughter at 16. Graduated at 18 at that time I was 5 months pregnant with my son, moved into my first apartment… I’m now 34 my daughter will be 18 on the 18th of this month!!! And my son will be 16 in October.. raised them by myself their whole lives, with the help of my parents thank goodness.

Thank You! I'm a C-section mommy and did it all on my own. My daughter is now 12, but those baby years were soooo hard. There was times I would cry because I was all alone, exhausted, and when ever I wasn't feeling good, there was no resting. It's all worth it and it gets so much better through the years.

I know several people that think of marriage as a “piece of paper” but people forget that in unwanted circumstances (death, medical decisions, accidents, etc) that piece of paper is so important. For example the Enky Boys situation, they considered themselves married but weren’t married legally & his family (who weren’t as much involved) basically took what he had after his passing leaving his wife with nothing and they had a whole argument and couldn’t let her mourn properly. Marriage is important, in my opinion

The last 20 mins about your home life with parents, siblings & husband is so SPOT OONNNN, I’ve always had the idea to buy land & build houses on that. That way everyone would be neighbors with each other and y’all would still have yalls own space while still being able to see each other everyday if y’all wanted too

I lived with my grandparents for so long even after having my first son, and when I moved out it was hard at first but then I got use to it and now my kids get so excited when I tell them we are going to Mama's house, it would be different if we where with them every single day Myra moved out and she is thriving ❤

I love how Raul explained how your baby sees your family as one! That is so sweet. Karina and Raul, it's very plain to see that you two are good partners, parents, friends and family. Blessings always to you. Prayers for Mayra to continue healing and remember to give herself grace and time. She is a mama of 2 and is and will always grieve the earthly loss of Briancito! The process of learning to live with a child in heaven instead of in your arms is mentally exhausting! 😢❤

It does feel that way when you’re leaving your parents BUT once you do leave the nest TRUST me girl it feels GOOD! As close as you guys are it’s just different. You’ll always be visiting so it’s not a big deal. I’m sure your parents understand. And maybe they even have plans of moving themselves. I’m sure they’re not planning to live there forever 😊

I can so relate with you karina about moving out , I literally moved out down the street from my parents house with my bf and I cried like a baby , it’s a different feeling like a loneliness feeling takes over and sets in but girl having your own spot with your own little family is beautiful ❤ something to call your own , now I’m here in my ranch home with my bf and our 2 girls and a butt load of animals ❤

I was on the depo too! I was on it for 4 years and stopped getting it during covid. I thought it would take me years to become fertile since "research" says it stays in your system for bit. I was fine with that since I wasnt planning on getting pregnant anytime soon. Sike! Turns out I got pregnant 2 months after stopping. But I’m happy it worked out the way it did. I enjoyed this podcast,Raul is a wonderful husband and father and he speaks. My daughter her husband lived with me and she had my first granddaughter who she named after me and when she was 3 years old they moved out it killed me and my granddaughter cried for me, I would go visit on the weekends and to leave era Todo UN show it was hard but they needed there space, I wouldn't get involved or say anything even if I heard them arguing. Your siblings will be going through there teenage years and you might get sucked in like you said, you'll be going through it with your own children you and Raul don't need that stress.

C sections are hard. It took me a year to feel almost back to normal. My 2 natural deliveries after were easier. That c section was rough. The recovery was really hard. I hope Mayra feels better soon

Its always seeing the queens, Mayra and Karina, but it was nice to see Raul and the chance to hear you both. Yall are amazing! Im glad you guys bring the pros and cons of living with parents/parents in law. I live with him and his family and they took me in without question when things got rough at my home without question(bless them, they are the best people in the world), but it can be a little hard when you have something in the fridge and its completely gone the next day. Dont get me wrong, they share their food and I dont mind when they get ours, only a little when its specific items (like an ice cream, or a bundle of bananas and its all gone the next day, or a drink I prepared).I sometimes dont know how to bring it up because I dont want to seem disrespectful, specially since it is their home and dont want to seem like I want to change their habits

Thanks for bring Raul, this was actually an awesome episode. Such interesting conversation. One the house issue I know it's hard but I see the advantages too. Now I do think too that since it is your home you need to put your foot down if it ever came down to a sibling bring a partner to live there. That should be a no no, cause then it would be 3 family dinamics clashing. Anyhow my parent lived with us until they both passed and I do not regret one bit living together, but I don't think I would have liked my brother and his spouse living with us.
