Assunta Obstetrics & Gynaecology Centre Opening Ceremony

𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗢𝗡𝗘-𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗣 𝗢𝗕𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗚𝗬𝗡𝗔𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗬 𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗘
Assunta Hospital joyfully unveils its new one-stop Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G) Centre, symbolising our commitment to women's well-being.
The centre is designed to be straightforward and convenient. Patients can easily register, consult with our specialists, and collect prescribed medications from the pharmacy - all on the same floor without hassle, ensuring a seamless and integrated experience for women. Additionally, parking is conveniently located on the same floor, further enhancing accessibility to the centre.
The launch, held on 14th March 2024, was held in conjunction with Assunta Hospital’s 70th anniversary and International Women’s Day.
YB Jamaliah Jamaluddin, Selangor State Executive Councillor for Public Health and Environment, was the Guest of Honour for this special occassion.
The event kicked off with a tour through Assunta Memory Lane and the Radiology Department, showcasing the cutting edge technology of the 3 Tesla MRI and 640-Slice CT Scan. A stop at the ASSISS Wall, showed our commitment to public health to the community. Our dedicated Board of Directors (BOD) and Senior Management Team (SMT) were also present during the event.
At the centre, Mr. Wilson Choo, our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) set the tone by delivering an opening speech. YB Jamaliah took to the stage, sharing words of encouragement, and officiated the centre.
The highlight of the ceremony was the ribbon-cutting, led by YB Jamaliah, Sister Anna Wong (BOD), Mr. Wilson Choo and Dr. Kuharaj (O&G Specialist), marking a symbolic beginning for this groundbreaking facility.
Dr. Kuharaj then led a captivating tour of the centre, showcasing the latest technology, facilities, and services, including a fascinating demonstration of our 5D Ultrasound technology.
It was a momentous day, celebrating innovation and excellence in healthcare at Assunta Hospital!
