Without sounding ignorant, but what is his pun in his name in French based on? In English translation, he is called "Cacofonix", with a couple of version being "Stopthemusix" *God!* In think is some translations, the chief's wife, normally in English translation the rightly-sounded "Impedimenta", was called "Instantmix" for *some* reason.

@@SuperTed19021 the pun is "Assurance tout risques" wich means "All risks included insurance". It's funny because he always gets beat up cause of his singing, so he would definitely need a good insurance

@@powertheimmortal *Praise be* that the "Asterix" series in English translation had the likes of the now sadly late Athena Bell and Derek Hockridge. If only things like "Lucky Luke" had the same.

What I can remember from the UK dub, Getafix says to Asterix about the herbs, "Oh yes, it's called tea. It won't catch on. These English you know, oh no, Britons!". A sly about how basically that Asterix brought tea-drinking culture to the UK centuries/millennia before India was discovered. And you must remember that the original comic of "Asterix in Britain" and it's film counterpart here already had *tons* of differences to each other. A lot was changed.
