Well to be fair, Asta use anti magic which make him have the advantage and disadvantage why because he is still human and can die if he get hit same goes for Meliodas he is a demon with powerful magic but cant afflict any magic against Asta but can use all counters if needed by the way the curse that was on Meliodas has not be confirmed to be removed yet and the the fact that he has seven hearts is still there and the swordsmanship experience is still there so if the match continued it will fall Meliodas favor

So Asta VS Meliodas 🤔 Magic won't work and Asta doesn't have it. That means the battle will be physical. So who is stronger physically? Meliodas Who is more skilled with a sword? Meliodas Who is faster? Both Meliodas wins. He would block most of Asta 's attacks. His demon blood isn't magic (demons can heal with 0 magic as seen in the manga). So Meliodas can still heal if he gets damaged. Over the course of the battle he will be able to block all Asta's attacks. Meliodas can cut 1000x in one go or cut so fast you won't even see it. Asta's swordstyle isn't like that.

Simply amazing animation, always thought out of many new gen MC’s, Asta has the best chance to square up with Meliodas. He’d honestly be a great apprentice for him. Meli’s 3000 yr experience obvi has him still stronger, but Asta still has his anti-magic hax and speed. I still believe EOS asta will reach Meli power scaling, especially with the new villain (+ form) Asta must now defeat to be WK 👀

Reasons to Meliodas wins (beyond negative diff) 1- His presence shakes the whole verse cause he got his power in true magic form + all the power of demon king and 10 commandments + big part of the power of the magical lake. Only with this he could be scaled by multiversal, considering that Meliodas was like half the power of Demon king and a fusion of both would be like the power of Chaos the omnipotent god. 2- Meliodas can just eat Asta's soul 3- Meliodas can absorve any magical attack cause he is a Demon, and can reflect all at once as he has done in episode 24. 4- He can put a curse on Asta to make he instantly die

Y’all buggin Asta completely wipes. Meliodas use MAGIC. Asta uses ANTI-MAGIC. Emphasis on the ANTI. Asta wipes in his base form doesn’t even have to use DUM. Why is everyone saying meliodas is stronger then asta? Like first of all. Anti-magic isnt even magic. Its just a substance that has no use of power sources like mana. Where in order for someone to even use magic they need mana. For anti-magic its different. And meliodas can only counter magic. Not cancel it. Even so demon king meliodas doesnt have the power to send someone in purgatory it was only proven that he was able to only shatter powerful curses. And not once did meliodas use demon king form in battle. People are just putting random s* on meliodas when meliodas never or even had used those abilities. And meliodas has never experienced anti-magic before. Therefor asta wins.
