Hugh...you are now in a garage band...and the Stranglers are selling out big gigs...what the heck....yes...but.....you don't give sh*t ....and that is awesome!!! Keep on rockin old fella.

Talking to him he seems ....well....somewhere else...I don't think he expected this...I feel he thought he would be a successful solo artist and the Stranglers would flop....but what made him great...was....well...him in the Stranglers....not alone...it's all a bit tragic really. They have a big back catalog to play...he cant recreate the Stranglers sound cause he doesnt have Dave G....or the Bass of John...he was the main song writer...but it doesnt matter now...they are a classic band/ hits now are irrelevant...they have the hits already to play!

I like the camera panning the crowd (most of whom are bald males) at 1:33. Clearly Hugh's female bassist is the youngest person in the room that day.

i was there back in the day maaaaan, 1977, and luckily ive got all my hair, lol. i still play stranglers all the time, but sadly those days have gone. if i went to see hugh or the stranglers these days id probably be a tad disappointed.

If you think that sounds crap Your not getting it that was brilliant and he plays the solo note for note like the original which is not easy

She started making music at a very young age when she was part of Kill 2 This in 1998-2001 so my guess is that she currently is in her late 30s or early 40s at the very least.

I love the stranglers and Hugh Cornwell but that sounded terrible, hanging around is an incredible song but that was empty

This is a shocking version from an artist who I have admired for years. He is totally disinterested yet living on the back of a band he left and wants nothing to do with.

This has been my favourite Stranglers tune since 1977! I Love Hugh and The Stranglers, but hate the way he now sings this, it is like 'Steve Wright's Pub Singer'! Awful, I can sing it and play it on the guitar better than that! He does a decent job of the solo, but it isn't that difficult for even a rhythm player like me! But this is his best 'solo' lineup! God Bless Hugh! dx
