Happy Birthday Anthony Herrera!!! Such a wonderful actor & an amazing man. I encourage everyone to purchase his book The Cancer War. He shares his struggles with mantle cell lymphoma & also gives you insight into his childhood & personal relationships. It is a fascinating read & you will not be disappointed!

Thanks I always wanted to know more about him. This is my first time binge watching As the World Turns in the eighties. Everybody talked about what a great actor he was back in the day. I saw his work when he returned in early 2000 I think. Was so sorry about his passing.

@@gwenfluker3436 Yes Anthony Herrera was a fantastic actor!!! I used to watch ATWT with my mother as a child during the summer time & stopped watching the show in 2008. I saw his daughter on a pbs show & it showed a 1982 clip of James & Barbara! I couldn't believe how young he was because I had only seen him in his older years but wow he was a very attractive man. From there I decided to google him, thats when I found out he had passed away & that he had written a book. The James Stenbeck character had always stood out to me. It is disheartening that Anthony has passed but he isnt suffering anymore which is truly a blessing.

Thanks Andrea yes he was very handsome back then. I found out his daughter is an actress too. Your right he's not suffering anymore his daughter and all of us his fans don't have to worry about that.R.I.P. to Anthony.

I was sorta watching this show then but a thing called got in the way. I was in 9th grade but I missed the much younger Anthony Herrera. I knew him better when he returned from the dead in 1986. It looks like a beautiful remote that he and CZ had. Good memories.

More time (almost twice as many years) has passed since this episode and today than had passed since the very first episode in 1956 and this one.

Do you have the episode when James first comes to town and reunites with Barbara or anymore James and Barbara eps?

Ellen Looked so Beautiful with her Hair Down

Yes she did; it was always a shame, the lengths they went to make her look 100 years old! First with that French bun, and in the 80s with that weird lapsa apsha curly concoction.

I thought so too you rarely saw her with her hair down

Interesting period of the show. More specifically, Barbara and James. I know almost nothing about the origins of their relationship....(only what I've read, or it being mentioned by the characters in the past. Thx for the upload.
