If I had cataract surgery 6mnths ago,can I get l.r.i..procedure now?

Hi Doctor, I have astigmatism in my left eye. My contact prescription is Plano (sphere), -2.25 (cylinder), 10 (axis). I am looking to correct my astigmatism. A surgeon here in Charleston SC, where I live, is willing to do PRK to correct the astigmatism. However, AK (or LRI) seems more appealing to me for the reasons you show here as well as faster recovery time than PRK. With my prescription would a person be eligible for this procedure instead of PRK, and with equal likelihood of good results? I have had comprehensive exams and my cornea tissue is strong. Thank you.
