What do you fix if your vinyl is cut when you’re stitching the string part? Around the string part the vinyl is cut

Leave it since it will have a layer over top and behind when finished. :)

I feel like a total moron but I do not know anything about sewing yet, but I am trying to learn as I want to make a pair of vinyl ears for myself..... how in the heck did you get your sewing machine to bust out stitching a perfect ear shape like that?
