It is clearly not about the money. These cherished cars are a piece of English Heritage. I wanted a DBS since 1976 when I saw "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" in a theatre on a double bill with "Goldfinger." The DBS called to me, and finally in 2008 one became available, and I traveled to England to collect her and bring her back to San Francisco. Got her running and took her to a couple of shows. Always wanted to do a complete body off resto, and my hand was forced when some illegals broke into my lockup and stole all my tools and vandalised her. I am presently 7 years into the re-restoration, and she is slowly turning into the car of my dreams, built by my own 2 hands. I've spent hundreds of thousands of dollars, and I do not care. It is not about the money, it is about being aligned with my purpose from God, and to fulfill my ancestors heritage that they have given me. You never own these cars, you are just the caretaker of a piece of art. She is willed to the Aston Martin Heritage Trust, and I may never see a dime from her. That is fine with me, as these years with her have been the best of my life. Girlfriends come and go, but the Aston Martin is forever.

WTF has a DB6 got to do with 007 ? The 007 car was a modified DB4.
