I couldn’t believe that 3-1 up in the second half we were playing as though we were losing 3-1, pressing high up the pitch and trying to hold an offside line 5 yards behind the halfway line.

I'm convinced these defensive troubles and poor starts to games is at least in part down to the laid back attitude of our club captain. He's just not a player that sets an aggressive and winning tone with his behaviour. Sure, virgil can play the game in 2nd gear but that doesn't mean everyone else can. Robbo is the captain this team needs but I can't see that happening with a Dutch manager coming in...

I've been saying it all season, I don't see him influencing and motivating players, just the odd waving of his arms. Theres a reason why all the Dutch legends are constantly on his back for his leading of his National team.

I agree with this, Van Dijk is casual and over confident, and this transmits to the other players. However it was Klopp that appointed him as captain and this was a poor decision.

All season Liverpool have given opposition hope. At 3-1 up with 5 mins to go that should be game over but with Liverpool your on the edge of your seat still. No control at all & zero game management. Brain dead decision to play out with 5 to gift a goal away & it’s game on. Hopefully win on Sunday & give Klopp a well deserved send off.

Trent needs to move permanently to midfield, as he can't defend for toffee. Nunez, needs bed side reading of the off side rules. Looking at the team don't kid yourself, a Slot of work needs doing. Have to change predictable way we play. Tactically, inept no plan B. Slot must be brutal, ditch the underperformers. Could be tough next season as we enter the zone of transition but change is needed, as witnessed by the game tonight, a microcosm of our season summed up to perfection.😐😐

Diaz.... he's as frustrating as Nunez right, constantly running into the opposition, his pass is always wasteful. If we had to get rid of one of the attackers he'd be top of the list for me.

I used to think Diaz had a bit of skill to go with his energetic game. But more and more he's just another Nunez - runs around a lot like a headless chicken with no end product. Might look good in a minor Euro league but neither Klopp buy good enough for the PL. Klopp's record on buys is Nunez-like, hit and miss.

We are way too risky in possession. It leads us to lose the ball in vital moments when we have committed many forward, causing dangerous transitions that leads to one on ones or easy counter attacks.

Disagree with you. Jones was excellent, when fit, for a good part of the season. Gomez is a wonderfully versatile, experienced defender to have. We'll be playing probably > 55 games next season.
