Me encantó el arreglo, y me pareció curioso el uso de stevens y tradicional (?) Usas Stevens en el bajo por la distancia en octavas? O algún otro motivo en particular?

Hi! Thank you for the kind words! There's a couple of reasons why I use a mixed grip (Stevens in the left hand, traditional in the right): I am mainly a Stevens player myself, and I personally feel more comfortable and get a more open sound playing with that grip. This is a question of preference though. That being said, I use some extended one-handed techniques in the piece (1:08-1:15; 2:12-2:18; 5:45-6:00) and those passages are far easier to execute with the traditional grip due to the equal length and weight distribution of the mallets. I really recommend learning all three main grips and experimenting around with them, it opens up a ton of new possibilities! Hope that answers your question and sorry for the late reply!
