Every-time a new character comes out, Riot does such a good job of showing them off, that they get called overpowered every-time in the comments. This is the same thing that happened with Yoru and he’s one of the worst legends. Edit: this aged poorly

Of course people have their expectations when a new agent arrives, but honestly, power creeping seems still to be very new to Riot. I give this game maximum 2 years before agents like Sova and Phoenix will be "bad" alternatives compared to the other new ones.

@@IgorNetoAnimation nop not really imo Phoenix's kit is simple but very effective. 2 flashes, a wall and a moli, last 2 heal and ulti is extremely useful in all situations. In the case of Sova I'm not saying he's bad but his sonar arrow is easy to deal with, his shock arrows are hard to use and drone leaves him vulnerable. Ult is quite nice if you use it properly but you'll always need info for it to work whereas Phoenix's is just much more flexible. It just seems obvious to me that info gathering will become more effective as new agents with better info gathering come out. It always come around to skillcap anyway and since Phoenix is easier to use and get use to I feel like he won't fall off as hard.

All abilities can be placed using the omen style xray vision anywhere within range. They are then activated by pressing a button (similar to killjoy mollies or viper smokes). 1st ability is a stun. It charges and then detonates shortly after. 2nd ability is a gravity well that sucks in enemies. It detonates after and makes enemies vulnerable. 3rd ability is a smoke. All three abilities can be selected from at each point placed from the xray. (Any point can be any of the 3 abilities). The points can also be retrieved. Ultimate is a wall that goes accross the entire map. Enemies cannot see across this wall and audio is very reduced/ distorted on the other side. It lasts until she dies and can be placed by selecting 2 points on the map as anchors. She also stole thanos' gauntlet from the looks of it.
