This is beautiful I have this car in black! engine is in the process of being forged with pec H beam con rods, arp bolts, wossner pistons, mahle bearings new timing chain. After seeing this I need to get in touch for a re-Map soon.

Hi Guys so when a AIRTECK induction kit is fitted.. Does it have to get a new remap.. Even though it has VXR mode . As I've been told it will break the engine.. If it's remapped without being FORGED 1st.. Pls can y help me out on this 1 lads ta :)

i have a similar induction kit from RSS, and a hose/intercooler kit from Airtec, plus de-cat and 76mm exhaust only with final exhaust, it's too loud lol. Coldstarts are nightmare for neighbors

I've read reports of the pistons breaking on this model of VXR, have you come across this and is only happening on modified engines?

not on these models, the cars 1.6 suffer with piston 4 issues.

How would you get heat soak?? Does the air no flow straight into a red hot turbo?

its to keep intake temps cool matey, colder air is better for the turbo

Heat from the engine, need to have a heat shield, to stop the intake taking in hot air as it ruins the fuel air mixture, you will loose power

@Ross McKnight I changed the gearbox oil and it mostly went away,, it's The dif making the noise so a specialist told me
