Interesting design. The one thing that jumps out at me right away is that the placement of the snap for the tow tether makes it very difficult for left-handed folks to use. I really wish companies would consider having more options for the snaps or more central so left-handers are put at risk.

I've been waiting a long time to get mine - pre-ordered last summer, and finally managed to get one from another location. No swim experience with it yet, but because I don't float well I used a Hiko Guardian 3D. I did 2 swims in that - one particularly nasty one, and I will attest that the 22lbs of float was a huge reason it went as well as it did. Knowing Astral was bringing this out got me stoked immediately - the float and safety of the Hiko with the fit and quality build of Astral - can't wait to get it on the water.
