This mesmerising masterpiece of a song has the perfect expression set in another masterpiece in visual narration. By the Advaita Vedanta, a system of Indian philosophy, the universal consciousness Brahman, finds its individual representation in the Atman, the soul or the life-force. When the realisation takes place that the Atman is nothing, but the Brahman, that the individual consciousness is nothing, but the universal consciousness, one achieves Enlightenment. And one realizes that the self that one has, through it's negotiation with memory is nothing but a construction - the surface appearance of the true self, that is the soul or the life force, that is consciousness, itself. Thus, one sheds away their identity, for all that makes one different from another being, is the assertion of their ego, and becomes truly, detached. The Atman reclaims itself as the Brahman, through detachment. Enlightenment and detachment are beautifully expressed through the metaphors of light and life in the video. The path through the woods, to find the sunshine and turn towards it, is almost an allusion to Buddha's exile into the forest and eventual enlightenment. It is compositionally and visually, masterful. Dear Astralia, you are beautiful. Look at all that you've brought out of me. Thank you.

Jakob is a huge influence for them. I don't hear a lot of it and I follow both bands very close. There is some hints but I feel that this ALBUM has a ton of feel to it. In my opinion it may be Album of the year... This is so good that I can not get enough of it. Thanks for such a great album.
