How the character unlock works is that after every WON random encounter, a 20% chance goes off for you to find a character (100% with Find: Characters), and the game randomly selects a character that you can get based on the area you are in. However, if the game selects a character you already have, it doesn’t give you the Character encounter. It really just depends on RNG. For more info about specific character percentages in different areas, DJ Sterf made a very in depth video about it.

Also my first time seeing it. Times like these I tend to think about xkcd 1769; not seeing things is literally the default option. No shame intended or anything, just observing out loud.
@whodistoodis11 ай бұрын
@@sunshowers3838 For sure. I was also just kind of making a broad observation based on personal experiences. And I'm just an old fart who's early 2000s memes live forever in the back of my head, back when there were far, far fewer memes, and the ones that did exist made the rounds through the forums regularly. Guess I just feel out of place in the modern landscape.

@@whodistoodis Yeah, I do get it though. This kind of isolation though over-saturation seems to be happing with all kinds of media. Used to be everyone in town had the same small pool of shows available, but good luck finding a TV touchstone with a stranger on the bus these days. Although, I think there's a thick silver lining to all this; the delight of being the one to introduce people to things they haven't heard of. If they don't like it, well that's a shame, yeah - but if they like it so much that the next time you visit they've brought merchandise of the show? Dang, that feels warm and cozy.

@whodistoodis11 ай бұрын
@@tomd96 I don't really know about CS:GO, but that only makes me feel a bit more out of place. Since, you know, Door Stuck is not from CS:GO. Its from regular Counterstrike. CS:GO didn't even exist at the time. Which I guess is sort of my point, as someone older then the public internet. Its hard for me to look past my own perceptions of gaming, having lived through literally all of it. I get having an audience nowadays, but back in the day, as it were, there was really only one audience, PC gamers as a whole. There were seldom few jokes that really made the rounds. You know, what we now know as memes. The few jokes and gags that did get around, like Door Stuck, were almost universally known. If you were an early 2000s PC gamer, you knew it. I should probably broaden my horizons, or at least crawl out of my corner of old-guard internet users, but my point of personal experiences still stands.

Spigg talking about Plunger Dream Game reminds me of my own idea for a game, but it wasn't Revealed to Me in a Dream(tm), but rather was entirely inspired by some cat-paw joystick pads. Basically, it would be a co-op Surgeon Sim-like where players played the front and back halves of a cat, and the controls were mirrored on each side of the controller for the left and right halves of the cat. I even mapped each button (and have found meaningful uses for all but one button), but have since lost the index card I did the button mapping on, though. There was even plans for an optional single-player mode, where the one "dead" button would swap control from one stick being the front half and the other being the back half, to one stick being the front-left and back-right, and the other being the front-right and back-left. The controls I remember, which greatly benefit from having a visual aide (as described in XBox terms) were: - The stick controls the paw's horizontal movement, clicking the stick toggles that paw's claws (allowing that paw to grip onto certain surfaces) - The bumpers move the paw up, the triggers move the paw down (I can't remember how differential pressure on the triggers would have worked) - Holding B (or right on the d-pad) increases the paw's vertical velocity, holding A (or down on the d-pad) decreases the vertical velocity (increased vertical velocity would allow jumps, I can't remember the utility of decreased velocity outside of maybe precision) - I genuinely can't remember X/left's function, but I know it had one. - Y (or up on the d-pad) was the "dead" button, and would just be used for various vocalizations in co-op (which might have a purpose in the game, but I haven't thought of it)

@doodlydungeon8576 The grief is still difficult sometimes. I miss her a lot, and I hate how suddenly she was taken from us (she'd been to the vet less than a month before her sudden decline and gotten a clean bill of health, though she was diagnosed with arthritis.) I still dream of her and I like to think that those nights are her visiting us. We have two young cats who are slowly coming into their own personalities and traits, and I have to say, I am seeing a lot of Mimi in my little black cat Clover, who shared a home with Mimi for like 2 years. She has learned how to differ between a sleepy nap and a depression nap, and she has started to exhibit a lot of the same affectionate behaviors (even cuddling us in the same spot Mimi used to for the first time ever just in the last month or two). Our youngest, Thea, is a wobbly tuxedo kitten with a ton of chaotic energy, and I can't lie, having a cat that requires so much attention and energy really has aided in the grief process. We got Mimi's ashes, some inked pawprints and nose prints, and some glass jars of her fur following her passing, and in the time since, her little alter space has gained a photobook I made myself to reflect on the good times, a giant painting made by our partner, and another digital artpiece made by our best friend. Mimi was very, very loved. And I miss her dearly. But she is never going to be forgotten. And I'm thankful I'm able to remember the good times whenever I get sad. Thank you for this comment. You're a beautiful human being and I hope your life brings you joy and love. 💜

I love the thumbnail artwork, it makes nightmare look like a child that saw his siblings get in trouble.

You should try FNAF world randomizer, i tried it and one of the first bosses I fought was the rainbow and i killed it with unscrew. Very nice indeed

I love that you can call Spitchers just about anything starting with a Sp and everyone still understands who you're talking about.

every single fnaf world video reminds me of how much of a banger Stone Cold is. I should probably make a cover eventually

During a recent play through of this game, it took me a collective 8 hours between unlocking Fredbear and Spring Bonnie. Spring Bonnie was the last character I needed, so it was just insulting
@LoafOfOranges11 ай бұрын
I remember when i was grinding for spring bonnie and fredbead, I got so out of my mind bored that I would hold my hands on the w and d keys, as well as r to run, lean back in my chair, and nap for what i believe to be 30 minutes to an hour at a time. and then when I got tired of doing that, I took two bunches of sticky notes and stuck them in the appropriate spots so the game would grind for me. Wouldnt you know it, as soon as i resort to doing it hands free, after many tries of falling asleep at my desk and STILL GRINDING, i get both of them within an hour.

Spigg really attacked Germany as Austria-Hungary in a Board Game Like A-H wasn't SUPER unstable and would've immediatly collapsed If it attacked germany

We all know this is just foreshadowing for him doing 100% of fnaf in one stream

When spiff started watching marbles, I mentally picked someone to root for every time, and I kid you not every time the person I picked got second to last or dead last. EVERY TIME

15:13 he’s not joking, go up and left until you see a tree along with two rocks on both sides, hold left on the tree and then you can just clip through it then go down and you get the halloween area

Contrary to what a lot think bagged milk is actually used in quite a lot of countries, not just Canada! It was even a thing in the USA temporarily before we decided on cartoned milk and jugs for no reason..

I’ve been playing fnaf world since release and there hasn’t been a year since where I haven’t messed around at all or beat it at least once and I’ve memorized enemies attack patterns enemy attacks where which animatronics spawn where the chips are and have run into a few undocumented glitches like onetime I started a new play through in 2018 and I was in fastest hills still with starter animatronics and nightmare Freddy fought and killed me easily and it had the faz beat hills fight background but I’ve memorized where lol bits are and where clocks are, I know basically everything about this game. I just love seeing people still play it!
