not sure if this is useful anymore but all monsters spawn from those small vents on the ground. You can hear a pitter patter when they go through the vents and a creaking sound when they open and come out of one. Use this information as you will. Also is less of a creak and more of a thud with the vent shutting afterwards.

yeah with the run attempts I have been doing I have been aiming for above the 400 average to try to avoid whenever I get to late game not either loosing it at the end or best case having enough padding to be able to play it safe when im gonna be the most nervous. Fahrenheit is better than Celsius because it's a 180 degree scale between freezing (32) and boiling (212) instead of a 100 degree scale (0-100). This might seem like it limits ease of use, since 0-100 isn't very hard to remember, but in everyday uses, you typically don't need to use most of the range of freezing-boiling for water. Meanwhile, since F has nearly double the amount of degrees in its scale, you can be more precise with how the temperature is without getting into decimals. I mean, even going from freezing to body temp, Celsius has 37 degrees of difference while Fahrenheit has about 66. Plus, while triple digits aren't feasible for current outdoor temperatures, Celsius has underwhelming "hot days" of 35-45 instead of Fahrenheit's 95-113 which make it clear, through the addition of a third digit, that it's fuckin' hot out. And on the other side of the spectrum, Celsius's negative temps are just as underwhelming since -10C is still 14F; so if it hits negatives in F, you know it's cold instead of just slightly colder than water's freezing point. Kelvin's easily the worst though, since it uses a 100 degree freezing-boiling scale but also tries to be overly scientific by having 0 being way down at "literally 0 heat". It's like the temperature scale equivalent of a guy who carries around a thesaurus to sound smart by using big words instead of small words. I will die on this hill everytime I see a chat bringing up F vs C. Metric's better for a lot of different measurements, but temperature is not one of them.
