Moonbin. Only someone with your performance ability can excel in the entire art of performing. First, it was your voice that mesmerized me and drew me towards. You sing with such lightness and delicacy, but there is so much power behind every note that you sing. I'm so sorry. I can't imagine what it feels like, losing someone so important to u as he was. I know that u will feel shock, anger and then become depressed by it. I know that only time can ease the pain, or t least make it "less" difficult for forcing u to adapt to it, but this is to cliche, and I hate this. I wish I had better words who could help to mend your heartstrings. Better words to make you stronger, but how to be on situations like this? Leaning on people that share the same feeling, who can understand your pain, people who will listen to you telling them your moments with moonbin, your hapiness listening to his voice, seeing him smile, learning to love and caring. There will be moments you will wish u never met him, just because the pain is unbearable, but believe me. JinJin. Astro was one of the first K-Pop groups to introduce me to a world of music that I had been oblivious to all of those years prior. You are one of the first great leaders that I’ve gotten the opportunity to spend time with and get to really know. You’ve changed me so much since I discovered you and it’s only been a few years since I decided to support Astro. I believe your musicality is what stood out to me first. You are a natural-born rapper and really understand the art of rap. You have such a raspy, defined voice that is just perfect to exercise the effect that rap can have on people. You have such a diverse flow and way that you use your voice to tell your story. You are also a gifted singer as well. You find a way to be able to blend rap and vocals to create such a fresh sound to Astro’s music. I often think of the group’s songs to be quite elegant, and you bring out the beauty in each song with the power of your voice. You bring a different style to each Astro song and they would not be complete without you. No matter the genre or mood of the song, you capture it effortlessly by letting your voice guide you through the song. You bring so much energy and balance to each of your songs and each time I hear your voice, I am hearing the song in a different way again. Your dancing abilities are just as wondrous and groundbreaking. What I love about you is that you are very athletic dancer. Astro’s choreographies tend to be very upbeat and fast-paced and you can keep the intensity for each one from start to finish, no matter how many times you execute them. I know that you are experienced in dancing, and can move your body in ways that I’ve not seen other performers be able to. In this way, you bring a surprise to each Astro choreography and bring excitement to each ones. You are the reason behind brightness and life behind every choreography, and you are the reason that other members can feel the same way during the performance. They can bounce off of the joy you get from performing, and encourages them to give their all into each performance. Your moves are clean, and although they require precision, you carry them out so naturally and loosely. I can see how much they love you every day because they value your happiness and content before anything else. Cha Eunwoo. I want to start with your musicality. I was immediately drawn into your voice because of how soft and dainty it is. I am easily relaxed by the delicate and light tones of your voice. It is very melodic and adds an airiness to each track that you sing on. It is as if I can feel every word that you are singing and the feelings that you have tied to it. Your voice is so pure and wholehearted, and I know when you sing you are doing so with authenticity. Your voice takes Aroha to new places of just absolute bliss; and it is like a dream getting to hear it. It has the ability to tell such a heartfelt and honest story, and I love that it just comes out naturally this way. Only you can have the affect on your audience with your sweet and warming vocals in the way that you do. . At the same time, you are such a professional and skilled dancer. Similarly to your voice, I love it when you dance because it is so easy to watch you. Your movements are so natural, and they are never forced. I can see you just giving way to the music and letting your body move to its own rhythm. You also look like you’re having so much fun every time you are on stage, and this is one of the greatest aspects of getting to watch you dance. You move with such grace, and you are a master of facial expressions in a way that nobody else is. Your face can represent the whole of the concept you are trying to portray, as well as guide your movements to match it. I love that you compliment your members well and and add a mystical element to all of your choreographies. Overall, you are one of the most talented performers I’ve come to know. You leave your audience with memories that they could never forget, and your artistry is so refreshing and new. I thank you for pursing the musical side in you because it has been crucial to the world of music and its capabilities. One of the first qualities that I recognized in you was how humble you are. Despite being so accomplished and being well-versed in a number of activities, you are so poised about yourself. You always give gratitude to those around you and still put them before yourself. You can be calm, composed, and professional, but also be fun and wild depending on the situation I’ve come to love your lighthearted humor as well. Astro has been such a close-knit group since the begging of their journey, and I know this is largely thanks to you. Even when you didn’t know your members well, you’ve always been so open to them and this is the reason that they are who they are today. They have such different personalities, and you have your own, but you’ve found a way to blend all of them together in a way that you all can accept and love each other. Regardless of age, you are like a big brother to all of your members in that you’ve always protected them. You’ve been there for them whenever they’ve needed you, and though they’ve all had different issues, you’ve given them the perfect advice and comfort that they needed. You are somebody who they can be themselves around and I know they are the most comfortable when they are with you. They just laugh, and I can see them reliving their youth. You’ve made some of your best memories with them, and I know that they will cherish them forever because they’ve shaped who they are as people. You are their family, and they are where they are in life because of you. Wherever they go or whatever they do, they have you to support them and back them up. MJ. I was first blown away by your other-world visuals. No matter the music video, concept, or other presentation of yourselves, you always looked exactly like an angel to me. You always appeared so innocent and gentle to the world around you. Just as quickly, though, I fell head over heels in love with your musicality and your stage presence. I can easily say that I’ve never heard a singing voice quite as vibrant and clear as yours. You have one of the most powerful voices I’ve ever heard, and it stunned me the moment I first heard it. No matter if you’re executing a choreography, are asked to sing on the spot, or are caught up in any other situation, your vocals are always stable and unbelievably solid. I knew when I heard you that I had come across someone who was born with a natural singing voice and had an understanding of singing in a way that is different than others. There is innocence and lightness in your voice; and at the same time, it is raw and full of so much emotion. Your range knows no limits and when you are singing, you can truly be yourself. It is difficult to describe your voice because it one of the most charming aspects about you and surely, there will never be another with a voice like yours. In addition to sing in whatever manner you please, you also can tackle any genre that you are fixated on. You are always evolving and your voice adapts to whatever shape you want it to take. I’ve not seen another performer dance with as much fun as you. No matter the choreography, you always stand out by perfectly embodying each concept. Not only do your master each choreography at any intensity level perfectly, you make it your own by dancing with so much feeling. Your moves are light and airy, and you are very smooth on your feet. You always leave us with a way to remember each performance in its own special way. You put so much care into each of your choreographies, and make each of them unique. You were meant to be on the stage because it is where you shine most. You really know how to speak to your audience and give them what they will love and cherish for the rest of their lives. Not only have you discovered your callings but you have used it to heal others. Just as I love how colorful you are on stage, I love your personality offstage as well. Of course, it is inevitable for me to say that the first quality I noticed in you was your warming and contagious smile. I was so attracted to your infectious laughter and the beam that seems to always radiate your face. Wherever you are, happiness is bound to ensue. Never had I felt so instantly and naturally optimistic upon just meeting someone. Not only do you harness it, but you manage to share it with those around you. Sanha. I first want to talk about your voice, because it has a sound I have most definitely never heard before. It has so much to offer, but perhaps what I love most about it is that it is so soulful. It is so familiar to me and brings back memories of my childhood. There is familiarity to it and it comforts me, although I don’t even know you personally. I can tell that you sing with so much passion and you really pour your heart into every line that you sing. I know that music has been important to you for you entire life, and you have changed mine just upon hearing it for the first time. You can really express yourself and communicate in a way that you can’t with just words, because music has become the primary way for you to reach out to your audience. At the same time, you are one of the most multi-talented dancers I know. You pay so much attention to the precision and accuracy of your choreographies, all while incorporating your own character and leaving a piece of you for your audience as well. You dance with such determination and eagerness, and I can tell that it is just in your nature to dance. Your movements are seamless and crisp, and you add so much sophistication to Astro choreographies. You can add or lessen the amount of intensity to really exemplary the concept of your moves whenever you need to. At the same time, you make sure to embody your own self in these routines and show the world through you are through dance. You always take the time to weave in such memorable gestures or movements that can only be treasured by your Aroha. You are always aware of so much at one time when you dance, and there are not many people who can balance all three without compromising another. Overall, you are born to be on the stage. Not only do you understand music, but you open pathways for your audience to see what it can mean for them as well. You give it a new meaning and shoe people how it can be used to change who they are, as it did for you. I thank you for being so keen on exploring the musical side of yourself, because the world needs it and your creativity. As much as I love your musicality, I love your personality as well. I noticed instantly how easily you smile and how happy you always seem to be. I began to crave the happiness that you had because just seeing you feeling so positive caused me to feel the same way. I also want to comment on how mature you are. I believe you are someone who is very sure of themself and is very aware of who you are and who you are not. You’ve taken on leadership roles since a very young age and you are very self-aware and conscious of what you want, even if you’re not sure how to get there. Without knowing them completely, you have confided in your members and shown them who you really are since the beginning of your journey. I notice that your members always want to protect you because you are so sacred to them. Rocky. You were the one of the first idols that I genuinely connected with on so many levels before I even entirely knew what it was I was feeling. One of the first qualities that I recognized fairly early on is your voice. This drew me in immediately because of the way your voice is able to accentuate the aura of Astro’s music. You rap with such confidence, an easy flow, and a soothing sound. I love that your rap is so powerful, yet not overwhelmingly aggressive or overexerted. The exact same can be said about your singing voice. To this day, my jaw drops open and I am so instantly moved to tears when I hear the melodic tones and effortless control of your voice. I didn’t immediately know you were capable of harnessing so much emotion in these long power ballads, but hearing the first one completely transformed my comprehension of your vocal capabilities. Similarly to your rapping, you have this softness and delicacy to your singing and add just the right amount of emphasis on all the right moments. You capture so much authenticity and reality whether you are singing or rapping and I am just so speechless on how one can be so immersed into music. Of course, your dancing is the other half of your outstanding musical persona. I did not know I would ever run into you, who has represented its truth and intentions your entire life. Your mind is so clearly connected to your body, and you are so able to transmit what you feel through your movement. I know that there are only emotions and words that you can communicate to Aroha and the rest of the world when you are dancing. You exist together as one to say what can’t be said with words. Not only do you make every choreography a part of you but you give it so much life and personalization in a way that I’ve never seen. I do thank you, for putting so much of your life into dance, which I know greatly defines who you are as a person. You can do what no other individual can do when you are performing on stage, and I recognized this so instantly when I met you. I can’t verbalize how talented you are and how diverse your performance really is. I believe what I noticed first about your personality was how quiet and calm you were. You just always came off as so mature and so considerate of the situation you were in. You speak so intelligently, so honestly, and so openly about what you’re discussing. I love how professional you are and how kind you are to those who you come in contact with. You represent yourself and Astro so well by carrying the reputation of your members and your group in this manner. To your members directly, I know you have the most sacred relationship and the most and the purest bond with. I realized so instantly that you don’t even hesitate to put your members first regardless of what happens. I love your sense of humor because you always make jokes that are unexpected or tease your members in the unforgettable ways. I love that you’re unpredictable in the way that you encourage laughter in others. I know that you can truly be yourself around them as well. I can tell how comfortable and at ease you are when you’re with them in any way. You don’t even have to say anything, but you’re constantly smiling and just having a great time with them. You know how to have fun and make each moment memorable, no matter what you’re doing. It’s in the little acts of kindness and every day times that you spend with them that just documents the unbreakable familial bond that the six of you share. I love knowing that amidst all that you’ve been through, you’ve always supported them in any way they needed. Astro was one of the first groups that I started stanning when I got into kpop in 2016. I remember after the first group I came across I searched "kpop groups that debuted this year." Astro was on that list so I chose to look them up. I think that this was the first Astro song that I heard and I remember absolutely loving it. It was such an uplifting and energetic song for me back then. Something that also caught my eye was everyone's smiles and expressions. They all look so happy and you can tell that they enjoy what they do. As all of these years have gone by, I have still supported Astro and their journey, and I will continue to do so no matter what they choose to do. Being here and hearing how their music has matured over the years is something that I will never forget. I know that they are all going through something terrible right now and I can only wish the best for them. I won't say that it will be okay because it won't, not for a while. But I can only hope that they all find the strength one day to continue on. I wish that I could do more for them than just send supporting words, it breaks my heart that as someone that loves and cherishes these boys, I can't do anything for them. I hope that they all know that they aren't alone and they have so many people around the world that are here for them and want to comfort them. MJ, Jinjin, Eunwoo, Sanha, Rocky, Sua I love all of you so much and I hope that you all take as much time as you need. And Moonbin, thank you for everything you've done, and thank you for all the hard work you've done over the years. Thank you for being so kind and bright. I love you so much, rest well. And Aroha, I won't say to be strong because it's okay if you can't be. It's okay to mourn and grieve. It's okay if you want to cry, scream, break down, etc. Your feelings about this are valid.
