Rocky had a part in writing lyrics, composing, and arranging this song so him doing this surprise MV for us Aroha's is even more special. I remember when it came out--we didn't know it was coming and it was Rocky's gift to us as well as to his beloved members. Rocky isn't my bias(MJ is) but he works overtime to try to wreck me by being so amazingly talented and also being just such a sweet and funny person. His abilities in writing lyrics, composing, arranging, producing in addition to his dancing, rapping, singing, choreographing, acting, etc. make him such a wonderful asset to Astro.

I really love this song full of emotions and beautiful vocals. Rocky did a good job with the MV and the song itself. This is my second favorite song of the group (my favorite is Always You). Both are so sentimental, I am a sentimental girl, anyway... The most of Kpop groups is awesome but Astro is different. Their vibe is so unique. I love them so much beacuse of their friendship. It's nice to see their complicity. Girls, you need to react to an accoustic version of Run. Their vocals will blow your minds! Believe me! Thanks for this reaction! Cha Eunwoo is Rocky's bias in Astro. They talked about this a lot in their "Hello Aroha" segments in Universe App. In these short clips (arohas mostly post on youtube, which is super appreciative by the non-subscribers), they read a question submitted by arohas on the app and they answer those questions. They're sooo funny and quite informative and they reveal a lot more about their personalities. If you still have spare time you can check them out on your own, no need to react, just to get to know even more about the boys. There's this one where they talk about how Rocky catches the attention of the waitress in restaurants and when Eunwoo imitates how he does it the whole group just cracked up laughing as Eunwoo goes imitating Rocky, "Imo!" (Aunt in korean). And how Rocky doesn't like cucumbers in his meals but he can eat them alone when not mixed with other food. So funny. And also they always impersonate each other and these are so hilarious. Anyway, sorry about the long comment. Lookinf forward to MJ's Get Set Yo reaction next week. Thank you!

This is on my Soft k/c pop playlist for migraine days. There is also a 'Making the recording' vlog on their youtube channel of this song. It is really interesting (and funny) how they put the songs together. It starts with Rocky recording some background high notes. They have several vlogs like this now. This is the "All Yours-One" Era. Most of the outfits were for the One stage performances and then also the 'Be Mine" 5th Astro Aroha Festival. Rocky also dropped the S#1 video that is more Home music video and has a heartbreaking story to it. The reason behind it breaks your heart but also shows you just how thoughtful Rocky is.

Rocky is a deeply sentimental and sweet little soul behind his stone-faced hardcore dancer exterior, so a lot of the songs he writes are super sweet or sad (MJ said his rap part for Gemini almost made him cry). This video is from One era, as it's off the same album as One (but during One promos they switched hair to get ready for After Midnight era). Highly recommend you check out Rocky's video for S#1, although checking the lyrics beforehand will help the video have a lot more meaning. Thanks for still giving us awesome Astro content!

Please check out the lyrics on your own some time. Very poetic and would have added color to what he was trying to convey through that video. Happiness, like spring, is fleeting and short and you’re just trying to grab on to the moment as much as you can. But just like spring, it will come back again, but it’s never the same spring as before. Spring is also a reference to his moments with Astro itself, which debuted in the spring. Notice Rocky reaching out to the members, grasping their hand. It’s almost like he’s saying I want to grab hold of these moments with my members because before you know it, these moments will be gone. He wrote another song that’s similar to Our Spring in lyrics called When the Wind Blows which I’m looking forward to your reaction on Patreon. Please check out his other homemade video for S#1, another song with deep meaning. If Rocky wrote it, expect it to be lyrical. I suggest reading the lyrics and understanding the story before watching the video. It is heartbreaking, just like his live performance of it. On a lighter note, MJ’s Get Set Yo is a fun one. After watching it, tell us if you can picture Eunwoo performing that live. He did at the Stargazer concert and It was surprisingly good. 😍 Lastly, whenever there’s a making video for an Astro song, I highly recommend checking it out because it gives you a deeper appreciation of what goes into the making of a great song. Hearing the members’ bare vocals is just cherry on top. They have one for Our Spring.
