Wouldn't surprise me that you could do more than visual with that setup. Does look like it might be pushing the mount limits a bit. I have put my Celestron 9.25 on my CG4 mount a few times for visual use. But that's overload and I get a lot of vibration at the eyepiece. Mostly use the CG4 for my Vixen 103s refractor.
