Yes, you have to speak formally to those who're older in Korea...even if they're friends, but some people are more western-oriented on that matter, so they let their younger friends speak informally :)

DDOCA is Astros self camera, they talk to it like its an actual person and upload toms of videos with it, I guess you could compare it to Bangtan Bombs, if that makes sense. informal speech is a thing in Korea, they take politeness and social order very seriously and as the Maknae sanha is supposed to speak on a certain level of formality to the other members, his hyungs. words like "yah" or calling their names without "hyung" after it is generally considered informal if done by Sanha and though they don't actually get mad its more like mildly offensive. however in Kpop groups maknaes usually drop formalities with their hyungs after some time due to friendships and so on. Yaja-time (when astro was playing the board game and sanha ordered Eunwoo and JinJin around) is when the order of age gets reversed, the youngest gets to speak informally to the oldest member and vice versa, often for a limited period of time, here 5 minutes. Maknaes usually use that time to just be plain mean and extra for really no reason other then to be. I hope this helped im a huge fan of you and an AROHA as well!

Yes the younger generations have to speak formally until they have permission from the older to speak informally because it is considered disrespectful. Also there are ways they can speak informally without disrespecting the older. Like if you were to get closer to another guy that was older than you you would say they are your hyung which means older brother. Hyung is used by males and Oppa is used by females.

DDOCA is a romanization of a korean word "또까", which in english literally means "again" - something is continuously happenning again and again - in this situation they are continuously doing stupid stuff for fun in front of a camera again and again. :D And they usually say "또까야" as a term of addressing the viewers of the particular video by adding "야" (ya) at the end. :) "야" is used in an informal way of speaking - if it's used by itself it usually means "hey" and is used in annoyence or as an kind of an insult (basically it's really rude to say it to someone else than your close friends). :D But if it's used like this, combined with an already existing word, it gives it A)informal form, and B)it means "hey" without the rude factor in terms of calling someone without any other meaning. :)) Update: also when you look on the hashtags that are always in the top left corner of every DDOCA you can usually see #또까 which is #ddoca in hangul(korean alphabet) :)))
