haha, same. I texted my husband when I woke up the other day, and I said "I can't believe NASA put a cat on the moon before Neil and Buzz walked out of the LEM. What a horrific way to die". In my dream, the cat had no oxygen, and he was just wandering around the moon, frightened & suffocating. My husband called me from work, concerned. Within about two minutes, I was back to reality & realized it was just a dream. It was so weird. I've learned to give myself a little time to wake up before sending any texts! ☺️

A great question is asked at 7:55. It is answered by Chris Hadfield. Hearing his words after SpaceX Dragon-2 return today certainly make all of us happy. Thanks

If only it wasn't so hard to visit space.... Science is the greatest thing ever.. I envy all who were and are able to spend time up there, every single one.... My dream will never come true, but I'll still so happy to watch these videos. Keep making the world a better place! Maybe the day will soon come when humanity will be spending more money in space travels and exploration than in wars.. Peace

This is so fascinating, literally the subjecty matter of fiction made reality. To think, perhaps one day, our grand-children will colonise the rest of our Solar System, perhaps one day, humanity will become children of many stars!

What’s wrong with Chris Hatfield ..leg problem ...why is there no delays ? We can see how your body’s react to the questions immediately after they say something in the question that we shouldn’t see for a few seconds or more due to the 11 seconds delay.

Hadfield is just having fun. The station could have been near a relay station which shortens the communications delay.
@glacieractivity4 жыл бұрын
They are flying 400 km above the surface. Radio-signals travels at 300,000 km per second. The latency is much higher in an international phone call or video-chat as signals are travelling tens of thousands of km. But even that is nowhere near 11 seconds.

Yeah, I was surprised Hadfield was only there for two ISS expeditions. From what I've seen, he has been in more Station videos than any other astronaut. He has a good sense of humor, and he's great at explaining really tough scientific concepts to kids; he does a great job in all his videos (and appearances down on Earth).
