Watching the next day. Waiting on a CEM60 to go with the WO 102 I picked up at NEAF. My 1st setup so watching this has been such a great help. Ignore the trolls. Those who follow you are so glad for what you share :)

I’d like to see you have another go at one of these live-stream astrophotography sessions. Completely understand things go wrong in real-time, but that’s part of the charm of live-stream videos; transparency. I like the polished videos with the latest gear too, but there’s definitely something about the older ones that I find more relatable. New gear is great, but your passion for the night sky is what inspires newbies and brings old subscribers like me back for more. 😊

Watched this playback while working from home today. Kept looking over from my computer to see what was going on. I've been there myself before. I spent over two hours and five attempts to align my GoTo dob in the middle of December. Not fun, not comfortable. It's extremely frustrating and even more so when you have someone watching or trying to ask you a million questions in the background. Mine wasn't a livestream, but it was a public star party for our club at our dark site. I was on my final attempt and if it hadn't worked, I was just going to pack it up and call it a night. When I finally finished, Orion had gotten high enough in the sky that I could see it for the first time ever with my own eye. Totally worth the frustration and effort.

Hi Trevor, I just got back from seeing the solar eclipse. I went to Nevada from Washington State. I managed to get some good photos of the partial. There too many clouds during the ring of fire part. We did see the ring through the clouds just not enough for it to show up from the camera. It was good practice for next April. ❤

I know it's hard to get used to when you're working by yourself but if you can make the connection between your brain and your mouth and narrate what you're thinking, feeling, doing, re-doing, planning, observing, etc., it helps observers to understand and learn from what's going on. We have this verbal conversation going on in our head the whole time. Just connect it to the mouth and let it come out so we can hear it. Anyway, hope it helps. Love your channel. Thanks a lot.

So, 350mm to 950mm is the optimum imaging focal lenght with deep sky objects. ?? I still only have my 3 DSLR´s and 2 wide angle lenses and a 12 inch dob..I wonder. Looking to take the Big jump soon..Greetings Iceland..

I’m also uninformed on what’s out there , any advice would be extremely appreciated. Your set up is beyond elite, I’m looking for something affordable to star gaze and spectate the moon .

Get some Belgium klosterbrau (them munks was good for something) or at least foreign stuff. The only US beer I actually like (besides micro brew) was Fat Tire. Well each to his own cheers.
