Nothing can stay the same forever, I guess it only makes sense that in the end everything just resets. Just like when you start a new hardcore world in Minecraft and decide to play on it for 1 hour every day, you know as long as you keep playing on it you risk losing it, but eventually the inevitable happens, but you can be happy knowing that at least you get to make another and have a similar but unique experience every time. Truly beautiful in my eyes, how nothing we ever do will matter in the long term of the universe except to us and the people that care about us or hate us. It’s depressing but beautiful, and so poetic that the end of something begins something new.

If there is a non-zero probability that a new universe could start after the end of this one then it is 100% likely to happen. Doesn't matter if the chance is 1 in a billion, 1 in 10^100, 1 in Graham's number, or 1 in (inconceivably large number that would take 200 years to even describe). As long as time still exists anything with a non-zero probability will eventually happen.

I wish I could be around to see a habitable Ganymede or Titan. Not sure how an ice ball turned water ball would stay together though, or if the waves would be crushingly big from the lack of gravity and tidal forces.
@trebmal5872 жыл бұрын
I'm not an expert on the matter but I'm pretty sure orbiting around a gas giant automaticaly make the moon unhabitable due to insane tidal forces, intense sunlight reflection and long eclipses caused by the planet...
@cumunist21202 жыл бұрын
The waves wouldn’t be massive from the lack of gravity but from too much gravity from the gas giant
@trebmal5872 жыл бұрын
It's not just giant waves that would be a problem. Huge tidal forces cause massive and constant volcanic eruptions which tend to make the atmosphere unbreathable. Even if the moon was orbiting far from the planet, reducing those forces, it would mean that eclipses caused by it would be really long and the temperature would drop drasticaly during those times. And when the moon would be between the gas giant and the sun, the light reflected back by the planet would cause an increase in the temperature. Yup, sorry to break it to some, but living on an Endor like moon seem really unlikely.

For people who felt depressed over this: This video is based on a theory called "Heat Death" or "Heat Decay". The theory started cracking because this theory is based on the idea of our universe expanding every way evenly and scientists recently observed that this isn't true and it expands unevenly. Also these are just "strong guesses" from what we have created inside our own little box. Who knows if its really gonna happen this way on the outside. So, it isn't worth to be depressed over this. If its still gonna happen, we have so much years in front of us that we can reach levels of technology which can change this. Remember that the modern science started in 1960s who knows what future science will hold.
