Dont know if you have ever heard of VR Chat, but the ships you model with interiers would be awsome as worlds people can hang out in. You could do some really creative external enviornments and ship effects to really sell the atmosphere. As a VRC creator myself I'd be happy to help if you wanted to give it a shot :) Right now there is only one world I know of related to Star Citizen where someone made a Connie Pheonix interier (also if you dont have VR, you dont actually need it to play VRChat, desktop mode is also a thing)

I own an LTI Orion...honestly debating on selling my account at this point lol... it's never going to be in the game, and at this point ny PC has gone from smoothly running the game to being completely phased out. Cant even launch it anymore. Might as well sell the account and build a new PC

@@Tyreel89 You can expect at least 1.5 years to make it just like all capital ships from the point they actually start the ship, and they have only added it's concept work to the tracker so I wouldn't expect to see it any sooner than 2024 at best as they are limited on devs.

This was based on the original concept model - it’s reasonable forward as at the front there is the maiming laser arm with mining control cabins

I just had a thought, let's say there's six escape pods in engineering (six engineers), but while someone (same rank) from the bridge is visiting an "abandon ship" is ordered, is that visitor required to leave and use an escape pod from the bridge?

The crew of Orion is 4-7 based on specs. There is total of 12 escape pods - so should be sufficient… I hope 😅

Not a nitpicking on 3d designer's work here, but rather on CIG concept. Why would you need rotating gravity sections, when you already have super compact and super energy-efficient gravity plates? Compact and efficient enough to put on a 10-meter ships with the weakest power plant in the game. People of 21st century don't put coal-powered steam boilers in electric cars. So why would people of 30th century do that?
