Hello everyone, this video is about capturing some photos of space from our new remote observatory in Central Texas. The sky conditions out here are bortle 1, so they provide a rare pristine view of the night sky that few people can access. I took photos of Rho Ophiuci, the Andromeda galaxy, and WR134.
Our observatory where I captured this video can be found here: starfront.space/
Our mission is to make dark skies and remote observing more affordable for everyone, if you want to learn more or sign up, I invite you to check out our website.
Also, in the WR134 image, I ran into some filaments I hadn't seen before. As it turns out, a colleague Julian Shapiro reached out to me some months back about how he had discovered this object. Over the months that passed I forgot it existed, only to recently stumble upon it myself a few days ago! Since then, Julian has been preparing a paper on these filaments belonging to this likely new SNR. He will have some better images of it in due time, until then you can find Julian's work here: www.astrobin.com/8n21ke/?q=ju...
