Yeah. We in the western world love the idea of a nobody suddenly appear, training hard and beat the old bloodline. But in Japan its the opposite, tradition, family and teaching the youngsters think that they don't lern at school. The mentality I different. I think it's funny that they gave Naruto the last name Uzimaki rather than Namikaze in order to "not paint a target" on him, despite the Uzimaki clan being a fairly powerful and famous clan while Namikaze has no other people that we know of

The reason behind that (to the best of my knowledge) is that there is no more Uzumaki (? No clue how to spell that now that I've had to try) and Minato turned atleast one entire country against him. If Naruto had his father's name, he would've been through way more shit from both Konoha and Iwa. Konoha thinking he's belittling the name cause they hated him and Iwa cause they wanted to remove everything Minato related from existence.

I remember a while back reading a theory that Minato was Tsunade and Dan's child. It continues to why Minato was trained by Jiraiya is because of Tsunade not being able to see/raise him due to the grief of her loss. Thus making him a Senju. I thoroughly enjoyed the video. I want to see how brutal the times were and how the younger ninja differ from Naruto's era and even further from Boruto's era. Maybe the Namikaze specialised in efficient chakra use as a clan secret and had reaction time that can rival the Uchiha clan. Minato seemed to have quite a lot of chakra to use flying raijin, but it could very well be that he minimised the amount of chakra used instead of having big chakra reserves. It would also probably explain Minato's studious nature.

The show doesn't say, but the manga says that they mated with other clans within the leaf to spread the Gene's around so the village would have more chakra. Unlike the senju, the uchiha kept to themselves (other than sauske) to keep the sharingan within the clan.(there are other clans that kept to themselves like nejis clan, the uzumaki(In the first great ninja wars) and a handful of others within the 5 great nations. Ofc in the present the hyga and naruto made boruto but that's bc iits peaceful and not in times of war

I have a feeling the Senju still exist, just not in the same way. As the dominant clan in the village, it's likely they intermingled with the other clans to tie all the clans together by marriage. Over time, all the Senju joined other clans and let their own fade into obscurity. The Namikaze and Hatake clans having vast reserves of chakra kinda support this. It's also possible they ditched their Senju name and changed it to something else to get rid of old enmity or split into different factions with different names because of disagreements. I highly doubt they were just wiped out.

Truth is that the Senju Clan was brought into the series pretty late, to have a counterpart to the Uchiha and to develope a backstory to the first and second Hokage aswell as Madara. Uchiha has been there since day one, so they got a lot more of background information over the time. I think its not like the Senju Clan "doesn't exists anymore", its more owed to the fact that the idea of the Senju Clan simply didn't exist that early back in the days of Naruto Classic and just was developed later into the show.

I choose to believe that the Uzumaki clan wasn't wiped out. Before the other villages could finish the job the clan leaders sealed every Uzumaki into a different dimension with the intent of one of their own undoing the seal later when it was safe and rebuild. Or the plan was to have someone unseal everyone in the middle of one of the other villages to destroy it like a giant angry Uzumaki bomb going off. There's still a villages worth of Uzumaki waiting to come back unless after all this time they've found a way to come back but choose not to for the sake of keeping their clan safe. That just sounds better than this village of fuinjutsu masters getting wiped out

I like how in-depth you tried to go but I think you should revisit some of those ideas. Yeah… Lee isn’t from another village, he’s from Konoha and he’s civilian born. The page that continuously gets referenced isn’t correct, this occasionally happens in info books like that especially the translated ones. It was probably a mixture of mistranslation and information of one of the Suna nin (probably Gaara’s) that got matched with Lee by mistake. And Minato was an orphan that Jiraiya found, not from a clan (a lot about Minato was retconned and changed throughout the manga so I really can’t fault you for that, I wanted him to come from a clan too at first but I think it’s more awesome for Minato to have come from basically nothing and worked hard to eventually become one of the strongest Kage then to just make him another clan kid who was born with ridiculous power). And Deidara has his own clan (with no connection to Konoha, and they have their own kekkei genkai) which has been referenced pretty early on in Shippuden. So overall, yeah this isn’t totally accurate and draws conclusions from too little information, misinformation, or retconned information. Sorry

You can somewhat "safely" eat Kurama, because his chakra has healing properties. you can't do it with others because beasts flesh is straight up deadly. Senju were masters of thousands jutsu. Soo... they didn't died off, they just specified. They divided into more specific clans. In my theory most clans that we see in Konoha is Senju descendants. Like Nara, Hatake, Shimura etc.

The Nara, in particular, I always imagined originated from the Senju, with Hashirama and Tobirama both using that Bringer of Darkness technique against Hiruzen. Hashirama didn't want to be like the Uchiha and keep it in the family so he told everyone to go mingle with the other clans in the village. So the reason senju isn't around is because they have the other clan names. Example white fang had a hokage sleeve on his uniform not to mention he look really like Tobirama but was born a Hatake

I know I'm super late to reply, but the two most interesting clans to me are the Uchiha and Darui's clan. The reason the Uchiha are interesting to me is for several reasons. 1) Although their main claim to fame as a clan is possessing the sharingan, it's never explained or elaborated on why the true powers of each mangekyo is different from other users. There seems to be no reason or determining factor as to which abilities are inherited or why. Itachi possesses a base version of amaterasu and an all powerful tsukiyomi, Sasuke possesses a base version of tsukiyomi and a vastly more powerful variation of amaterasu, shisui's only known ability was kotoamatsukami, and Obito possesses two different forms of kamui, one close range and one long range. In fact the only power they all have in common is the Susanoo. Which even their Susanoo's are vastly different and possess vastly different abilities. So what determines their mangekyo abilities? Is there an infinite number of unique abilities or is there a preset number? Is it possible for an Uchiha to possess or gain all the other mangekyo abilities? Furthermore what about the stray abilities like Izanami and Izanagi? Are those learnable to any mangekyo, and if so, how? And with eternal mangekyo sharingan, would the mixing of completely different sharingan, if successful, produce mangekyo with new abilities or simply inherit all 4 different abilities? For example say Sasuke had successfully used obito's eyes to gain EMS, would be have been able to use both forms of kamui, amaterasu, and tsukiyomi, or would his powers change entirely? Furthermore, madara is the only known Uchiha to have unlocked the Rinnegan, but it's never stated if he still retains or is capable of using his original mangekyo sharingan abilities. He is only ever shown using susanoo. Why? As for Darui's clan, I find them interesting because they possess multiple unique abilities such as storm release, black lightning, and gale release. Why are they able to use so many different techniques? What differentiates the 3 powerbase wise? Is one form more affective than the others at different things? Are all 3 abilities always inherited or is there variations on which ones are passed on? This is why I hate boruto. In naruto and shippuden, great care was done setting up these clan lores and abilities with the prospect we would and could always learn more about how everything worked. However in boruto, it seems as though the theme of ninjas and ninja techniques is cast aside to focus more on sci-fi themes like aliens, outer space, and androids. I would rather learn more about the shinobi world than alien ones. There's so many mysteries and questions left unanswered regarding Shinobi. Like is the hidden cloud the only village with black shinobi? Also, many clans actually had defectors who abandoned their respective homelands and spread out over the ninja world. What became of those clans? For example we know the Uzumaki clan got around because Karin is from somewhere other than the leaf, and Nagato is from the rain village. Also, Madara stated in his tale that many Uchiha abandoned the clan when he agreed to make peace with the senju. Where did they go? Are there still Uchiha out there somewhere in the world? What happened to Juugo's clan? Where are they from, and why do they possess the ability to naturally be sages? Suigetsu is confirmed to have had a family and his brother was a legendary mist swordsman, what happened to their clan? There's so much info that could be worked on and so many opportunities to invest in ninja other than the ones they focus on.

As far i know minato was just a orphan found inside the boundary of fire county by jiraya and took him to konoha Just like hiirozen ( 3rd ) did to jiraya and orochimaru And about deidara, he got his own clan in his village Rock lee was born in konoha and just like sakura lee was a 1st ninja in their family And not all resident of konoha was a ninja just like the ramen guy And i think why minato does not have clan is to remove the racist same thing goes to sakura, lee and maito guy, that even you are came from famous clan it doesn't mean you can't get strong The flying thunder god jutsu was originally created by tobirama (2nd) but minato not only learn how to use it he polish it to a better one so he can call it his own, just like jiraya and kakashi said to naruto, from rasengan to rasenshuriken

Hey, thanks for putting this together! One correction -- Nawaki was Tsunade's brother, not Hashirama's. Nawaki and Tsunade are Hashrama's grandkids (It's in the arc where Jaraya and Naruto are looking for Tsunade to ask her to become Hokage. There she gives Naruto her neckless, as she gave before to her brother Nawaki and her boyfriend. Its in Naruto series, 3rd or 4th season on Netflix)

Regarding the reaper death seal I think the uzumaki clan could survive this jutsu which would enable the user to survive it Think of it the uzumaki could rip out the tailed beasts from their bodies and still survive the process even go on fighting so yeah they can definitely use the jutsu constantly

Really interesting vid. I would have been surprised if Uzumaki and Namikaze weren't top 2. In recent years, I have been left to resorting to headcannon for certain things in my favorite series. "Intense stare at kishimoto and toriyama" 😠 One thing that i think could be universally accepted is minato being tsunade's son and tsunade really being Naruto's grandmom. It would make some sense and add more depth to existing characters. Plus naruto forgave a guy that shoved multiple chidori to his chest I think he could forgive his absent grandmom or grandparents. For those jiraya x tsunade fans.

There are a couple of Ninjas "stronger" than him. BUT he is most likely smarter than all the living Ninjas. He and Itachi set the highest scores in the Chunin exam. He figured out Tobi's powers in a min. Him as the strongest among the dead is already a crazy statement since the 1st and 2nd Hokages are dead. Minato is my GOAT infact if he was the MC of the Anime it would have the same level of success. So many people love the character and style of Minato.

Hey, so watched the video and liked it but I do got to point some things out. First off the the gold and silver brothers could very much be related to either asura or the sages brother, as seen with the uzumakis more then one clan (due to the time in-between these periods and how quickly descents spread) as the hyuugas exist on the planet and must be related to the sage of six paths brother. I myself believe the jugo clan is related to the sosp or his brother as well
