En 2019 Clinton Fearon célèbre 50 ans de musique et de carrière. C’est en 1969 qu’il rejoint les GLADIATORS, petit groupe de reggae jamaïcain qui débute alors et accueille le jeune artiste en tant que chanteur, puis guitariste, bassiste et choriste. Le groupe grandit et devient vite une référence dans les années 70 avec des titres comme « Chatty Chatty Mouth » et « Rich Man Poor Man » devenus cultes aujourd’hui, et dont Clinton Fearon était l’interprète. C’est à cette période qu’il collabore aussi avec les plus grands en tant que bassiste, de COXSONE à LEE PERRY, démontrant ses multiples atouts et restant toujours très productif.

Today being 3/14/2023 I come across seeing this show for the first time.. Sounding is great but the dub sounds are even more striking. To see Bassie (Ferron) on bass made my day. Respect to Clinton Ferron. I like the show.
