am thrilled with the partition.. I don’t want more of them within our borders causing more imbalance with our demographics. Without partition, BJP could have never come to power and we will be doing only a quarter of the development we have been doing now. It would have been better if it was a compulsory migration or if we had not given 15% extra land to Pakistan thanks to Gandhi. I have heard well-educated Muslim colleagues say the British did them max harm by taking the country from Mughals, but returning it to Hindus in power with a democracy. Whatever happens, happens for the best.
