That is the reason we should focus more on samudrik sastra. Which is predicting future through face reading, palmistry, foot reading and reading different parts of the body . More research should be done on palmistry.As in this video it is clear that getting correct time of birth is very difficult but body parts cannot be incorrect . It only needs an expert to decode the body and if done by an expert the results can be very accurate.

In Vedic times it was absolutely unheard of for the person to give up his wife or child on account of the bad luck of child. Whatever happened, the husband took care of wife, even if she was evil or crooked. Although a very spiritual person on the path of moksha can give up his family but for the sake of upkeep of general masses' dharma, they didn't. The story I read in book ESD that, the father of Astavakra was called to King Janaka court. And didn't return home. After many years Astavakra went to the same court which was famous for its August assembly of scholars and Vidwans.

1. सुबह उठकर बिस्तर पर ही अपने इष्टदेव को एक दिन और जीवन देने के लिए धन्यवाद कहें. 2. नित्य कर्म से निवृत्त होकर सूर्य को जल चढ़ाये ( कलश में जल के अंदर लाल फूल कोई सा भी रखकर जल चढ़ाये - मंत्र ॐ घृणी सूर्याय नमः) 3. पूजन या जप या प्रार्थना अवश्य करें. 4. कुछ भी खाने से पहले किसी भी जीव जन्तुओं के लिए भोजन डालें जैसे चिटियों को आट शक्करएकचुटकीप्रतिदिन 5. घर में माता पिता को पैर छकर प्रणाम करें यदि ऐसा करना मुश्किल हो तो मन में माता पिता को प्रणाम करें. 6. पूरे दिन अपने काम को करते हुए भी मन में अपने इष्टदेव का मनन करते रहे. 7. शाम को घर आते समय किसी भी एक मंदिर में जरूर जाये या दूर से ही प्रणाम करके निकले, 8. शाम को छोटा सा हवन अवश्य करें ना कर सकें तो सप्ताह में एक दिन हवन जरूरी है. 9. जल दान करें जैसे घर आये प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को चाहे मजदूर हो जल पीने के लिए अवश्य पूछे, भोजन के समय कोई भी व्यक्ति घर आ जाऐ भोजन करने का अवश्य कहें. 10. यदि कहीं खड़े होकर जल पी रहे हैं तो पहले आसपास किसी पौधे को थोड़ा सा जल अवश्य चढ़ाये. 11. बारिश के मौसम में लोगों को आश्रय दे भीगते व्यक्ति को घर में रोककर बारिश खत्म होने तक जगह दे. 12, घर पर आने वाले प्रत्येक भिखारी को दान अवश्य करें चाहे 11 क्यों न दे लेकिन दान दे जरूर. 13. कपड़ें दान भोजन दान जैसी चीजें अवश्य करें वर्ष में एक बार ही कर सके तो एक बार करें, 14 किसी भी दुखी मनुष्य को सांत्वना जरूर दे कि सब ठीक हो जाऐगा आपकी सांत्वना किसी के लिए अमत समान होती है,किसी की भी मृत्यु होने पर तुरंत उनके घर पहुंच जाए और शवयात्रा में शामिल हो. 15. सत्यवादी बने. 16. माता पिता को भगवान के तुल्य माने भले उनके सामने दिखावा ना करें लेकिन मन में माता पिता को भगवान ही मानेऔर सेवा करें. 17. गुरु के प्रति निष्ठा रखें और गुरु सेवा अवश्य करें. 18, भूमि दान विघा दान गौ माता का दान अवश्य करें, 19. पुराणों को वेदों को अवश्य सुनना चाहिए. 20. अतिथि की सेवा सबसे बड़ा धन है अतिथि को प्रसन्न रखें 21. दुर्गा माँ की भक्ति और उनमें विश्वास रखें, सूर्य की पूजा करना चाहिए. 22. प्रत्येक पर्व पर पवित्र नदियों या तीर्थ स्थल पास है तो वहां स्नान करने जाएँ, 23. जीवन रहते काशी, जैसे पवित्र तीर्थों में और चार धाम यात्रा अवश्य कर लें. 24. यदि आप गाँव में रहते हैं और घर में किसी की मृत्यु होने वाली हो तो उसे गौ शाला जहां गाय माता को बांधते हैं वहां रहने की व्यवस्था कर दें, क्योंकि काशी मे गौ शाला में और किसी तीर्थस्थल में मरने वाला मोक्ष को प्राप्त होता है. 25. सभी शास्त्रों में और पुराणों में विश्वास रखना चाहिए. 26. अपने जीवन में प्रतिदिन नित्य कर्म के रूप में हवन करना चाहिए ना कर सके तो सप्ताह में एक दिन वो भी ना कर सके तो महिने मे एक दिन, हवन करना चाहिए, 27. जितने भी अच्छे व्रत बताये गये हैं उन्हें रखना चाहिए जैसे. एकादशी सोलह सोमवार सप्ताहिक व्रत किसी भी देवी देवताओं का जन्माष्टमी शिवरात्रि ऐसे बड़े व्रतों मे से जो भी व्रत आप रख सकें रखना चाहिए 28. अपने जीवन रहते जितना जल्दी हो सके गयाजी श्राद्ध करवाना चाहिए जबतक गयाजी ना जा सके तब तक घर में श्राद्ध पक्ष में धूप डालें 29. लड़ाई झगड़े करनेवाले लोगों से अपराधिक सोच रखने वाले लोगों से पूर्णतः दूरी बना लेना चाहिए 30. कभी भी आपके शहर या मोहल्ले में सत्संग या धार्मिक कार्यक्रम हो तो अवश्य जाएँ, 31. मंदिर में या तीर्थ स्थल में हमेशा कम से कम एक भिक्षुक को दान अवश्य करें 32. अपने पूरे जीवन में 11 फलदार वृक्ष अवश्य लगाना चाहिए 33. अपने जीवन में कम से कम एक जलाशय जरूर बनवाना चाहिए भले 30 या 50 लोग मिलकर बनवाये 34. घर में रोटी बनाते समय पहली रोटी गौ माता की ओर दूसरी रोटी मे से कुते और चिड़िया के लिए आदि रोटी छत पर डालें। रोटियां छोटी छोटी बना सकते हैं) 35. घर के पूजा स्थान में पवित्र वस्तुओं को एकत्रित करना चाहिए 36. श्रीविष्णु या शिवजी जो भी आपके इष्टदेव हो उनका नाम जपते रहना चाहिए और गुरु मंत्र और इष्टदेव की एक माला जप कम से कम प्रतिदिन जपना चाहिए शिवम जी ( हिंदू धर्म प्रचारक और प्रभु सेवक)

Thank God the ancient Rishis didn't have confusion regarding the model of universe and the precession of equinox. If we factor in the wrong model of Planets, along with the wrong ayanamsha, incomplete wrong facts of Jataka interpretation, sidereal tropical, lost knowledge etc etc Then it becomes evident that whatever the modern Jyotishis are able to correctly predict, they are able to do so solely on the basis of Divine help/past karma, nothing else. Rightly KN Rao Sir insists on Japa etc. He knows the truth of our current state of astrology.

However I am still doing research on this issue. The planetary model is very different however, between the Drik Siddhanta and Surya Siddhanta. This issue of mathematical model consistency is critical. I think we need such discussion for proper presentation of Astrology as based on divine astronomical science also.
