i have been saying that for years. A given amount of money, a certain amount of time. Campaigns must turn in financial records 5 days before election day, anything over the amount set will forfeit your election placement on ballot.

Privatized prisons are a nightmare. They warehouse prisoners in solitary confinement for decades without adequate access to defense. Less security, it's easier to police. The system gets monthly payments for every prisoner they keep incarcerated, more for those in for drug related charges(Reagan's war on drugs). There's no incentive to get people out of the system.

Re: immigrant raids on Tuesday. From what I understand these raids happen all of the time in cities including Chicago. The only thing different is they’re choosing to hold off on the raids planned for this weekend or last week until this tuesday so it’s on the new guy’s watch, making it look like it’s part of his plan and can spread these rumors that are happening now that it’s part of his plan when it’s what they normally do.

I always believed New Age was just a cooler, more modern form of fundamentalism. I like your realism prospective. A much more balanced approach. Thank you. Yes we are all manipulated.
