Excellent point re signs in the same seasons. Have been thinking about that a lot in the last many months. Something missed and underemphasized by many astrologers. The tropical zodiac is season based first and foremost. (And should be reversed for the southern hemisphere to fit those seasons) The sun, Mercury and Venus always fall in the same season. That tells us a lot. More than element emphasis. Like quadrants in the houses. A major emphasis in a given person's life that is not too hard to see. There are winter people, summer people, spring people, etc. Also, his point about ruling planet sharing - like engirding acc to classic astro - Ibn Ezra highlights this.

Thank You Christopher ❣️ Thank You Amanda❣️ Since today is Fathers Day, I finding myself pondering parent/child relationships. The ones we are born into, for better or worse. I find many Karmic challenges in this dynamic. The ultimate being the choice to overcome the differences and find common ground. I think astrology is most helpful in understanding how a relationship works; why; and what we can do individually to make the most of it - which includes walking away without hard feelings or regrets. I tend to think, that any transit, natal position or aspect offers unlimited options. There is always the obvious - Benefic or malefic. Flowing and easy or obstacle ridden. Yet every aspect holds the possibility of both the light and the dark side of its nature, enabling us to choose the best possible option to understand and overcome any challenges in our way… With regard to parent and child, it’s never a question of who’s older or younger; who should know better or not… It’s about the willingness to embrace maturity, make the wiser choice, say the wiser words and do the wiser deeds - All in the name of Love… Happy Father’s Day All🥰❣️

So nice to see Christopher and Amanda. I've been off the IC for a while, and this makes me miss y'all! Also, I too have noticed the phenomenon of Sun Rulers in the house of the client's lover. It's right there in my own chart: my Sun is in Taurus, ruled by Venus. My natal Venus is retrograde, stationing direct in Aries. Supposedly she is in her fall here, but I am perfectly happy with how my Venusian side manifests in some Mars-ruled ways (no wonder I am the she/they in the Department of Contemporary Pronouns). My husband? Aries, of course. My first lover who was also my first long-term relationship? Aries. One of my favorite musical collaborator-friends? Aries dude, of course. I love my Aries menfolk!

OMG Christopher, you just struck a cord and a light went on! I have a dear Friend with whom we are in amazing resonance from when we met seven years ago -she’s from New Zealand and I’m from the US. She’s a Scorpio and I’m a Cancer and yet “although at first glance we’re out of season” But her Sun is summer in the southern hemisphere and my Sun is summer in the northern hemisphere viola! An element that brings us into resonance!!! According to what you’re saying!

I love your substantive, brilliant, and upbeat conversations, thank you. I always learn so much. My mind was blown a bit today thinking about the natal chart ruling planet. I'd love more conversation (or please direct me to another video/resource) about the different perspectives on the planetary chart ruler. My first teacher drilled into me that my chart ruler was the ruling planet of my ascendent (in my case the Sun). My Sun sits in my 12th house Cancer. Per Christopher, my chart ruling body is that of the Sun Sign, thus the Moon for me. My Moon opposes my Sun. I'm not sure how to sort out the two different perspectives in this case. Can I apply both ideas?

I have the Sun in Pisces where Jupiter and Neptune rule my sign. Natal Jupiter in Scorpio and Neptune in Sagittarius. I think it is odd that my partner has the Sun in Libra with Venus the ruler in Libra. I have natal Venus in the exalted sign of Pisces.
