I met a very lovely girl at a hostel in Quito who was born on 20 January. Her equal mixture of Capricorn and Aquarius traits were hilariously uncanny. Whenever she would begin to speak, everyone nearby would hypnotically gather around and before we knew it, it felt as if we were watching a professor giving a very engaging lecture or the president addressing the people. The hostel had an outdoor kitchen where cats would appear and try to steal our food. She left her plate of arepas and salad unattended for a few seconds when a cat snuck up and tried to grab a bite. She pulled it away and said "Hey! I worked for this food!"

Loved the in-depth analysis you gave in this video! I’m a Capricorn (Dec 23) and when I compare myself to other Capricorn friends and other celebrities, it’s like I felt somewhat distinctly different from them. I do have a lot of typical Capricorn traits, but noticed I have a little Sagittarius in me (adventurous, witty, wise, etc.). It’s hard to say sometimes because astrology is not fixed and there’s a lot of gray areas, but one thing I can definitely say for sure is that I’m different that what people would perceive as a traditional Capricorn

Astrology Podcast did a whole episode on cusps and their reality. I am so bummed when people choose supremacy of a system over the philosophy's purpose in itself. What I mean to say is, in Tropical or Sidereal my signs change, but not always, like in Chinese or Mayan it is different, but together creates a unique version of me. Cusps do this too, it's lore based on theoretical physics like astrology itself, and to say they aren't real is using the same argument for why people say astrology is not real... That it has to be a certain way in a certain system at an exact degree only "real" in that system and that system alone. I am 1 degree Sun conjunct a 28 degree planet and call myself a cusp because the Sun is not who I am, the combination of planets, and who I say I am, is who I am. It's like the transgender or biracial argument but sillier because I am not talking about my physical sex and my chosen gender or race. I will combine the best of all charts where the cusp liberates the potential of my personality instead of further pinpoints me into somebody else's description. Famous line from science fiction author Arthur Clark "I'm a Sagittarius, I don't believe in astrology..." read that again...

Your cusp is so interesting to me, especially! Sun ruling Leo and Moon ruling Cancer?! Can there BE two signs more polarized?!? Lol. I am an Aquarius-Pisces cusp born on February 19th... the cusp of sensitivity. And let me tell you... I am SENSITIVE. Any tiny little shift in someone’s energy... a change in body language, tone of voice, or even just a general sense of unease or tension when someone walks into a room sends my mind into overdrive. I also cry, or at the very least, tear up everyday over music, but past memories or any overwhelming emotion. I personally really appreciate your cusp. Being born on September 23, I'm technically a Libra. Although I recognize some of the typical air-like qualities, the house that my Virgo rests in has more of the ¨social¨ planets (Mercury & Venus). This, and the fact that I'm water & earth dominant makes me relate much more to the Virgo aspect of the sun cusp, and my Scorpio moon. This video has helped me to understand cusps so much as I was born on a cusp Pisces/Aries - March 21 1983 at 10 am. But according to my natal chart my Sun is in Pisces, moon in gemini and taurus rising. Chiron is closest to my ascendant in the 1st house and it is also in taurus like my venus. But now I feel like I'm a mixture of everything!

Experienced is the best teacher. Actually before I knew aboust cusp signs, it’s kinda weird for me I am a Leo but some characteristics pf me doesnt apply as a Leo in general. Knowing myself is kinda hard, but when I lve know about Leo/Virgo cusp it’s open up myself. I definitely believed me having fire and earth characteristics, it’s kinda hard to balance sometimes but I enjoyed it. Astrology is so abstract. That there does need to be gray area. I agree that it’s important to look at cusps and factor them into astrology. I also believe it’s important to consider both Whole Sign and Placidus. Astrology wasn’t built to be a limited belief system. Awesome video 🤓👍🏾

Hi, I was born on Aug.23 and I'm on a cusp but have no idea the exact time of my birth history. But my personality seems to be more of a Virgo ♍ traits. I was so confused when I dived into my moms birth chart! She’s born on October 23 and she’s a Libra, it when looking at her chart on AstroMatrix it said she’s a scorpio, was thinking theory was something wrong with the app and when I googled I found that some says Scorpio begins on October 24 and some says October 24. What about for the rising sign or the ascendant sign? There was a power outage at my time of birth so it wasn't actually recorded exactly. But during that power outage that 30 minutes it switches from one side to the next. Based on talking with people through the years I have appeared as either person in first impression.

@@mjl3753 Well all I can say on that is don't let it worry you too much :) As I stated in this video, even if you knew the exact time, you would probably still be feeling this way. And if Capricorn dominates your overall chart, then I wouldn't doubt that's influencing how you perceive your Rising sign. The best thing to do, whether you know your time or not, is to remain open to the possibilities of both. Look into both rising signs equally & keep your mind open to how both might influence you💙😊

#EXACTLY !! When the winter solstice hits capricorn ( winter ) technically starts. Yet the weather does not drastically change till later. It is a process. If astrology aligns with nature people need to take that into account. The spring equinox is ARIES and spring OFFICIALLY starts then. Yet the weather still shows bits of WINTER Still Prevail For A bit. PEOPLE THINK NATURE AND ASTROLOGY DONT CORELATE!!! LOL !!!! If it was a DRASTIC CHANGE THEN THERE WOULD BE NO DEGREES OR DECANS !!

Conversely, it also takes an open mind to consider cusps may not be real too right? I used to go back and forth on this topic, so I've been on both sides. I've come to realise cusps are very likely do be a huge myth. A lotta people who talk about cusps are only looking at their sun signs, not realising our personalities are our entire birth charts. It just happens that Mercury and Venus falls no more than 1 or 2 placements, respectively, away from the sun. I know a Leo who thought she was a Leo/Virgo cusp, cause she has behaviours of both. It turns out her Mercury is in Virgo, that's exactly why she thinks like a Virgo. Also have to consider people's rising and moon signs and other planets. Yes astrology is very nuanced, and i do consider it a scientific study that has potential for revision. Although people do need to look more closely into their entire birth charts first before claiming they are a cusp, and that their traits supposedly came from both sun signs.

Absolutely. Where the planets in our chart are placed play a huge role in what energy we most relate to as well, specifically the personal planets.

Lol, my sun is 0.3 Degrees in Aries but I feel mostly Piscean. I have an Aries moon too. My rising is 0.1 Degrees into Virgo. I can't tell if I identify more with Virgo or Leo, but probably Virgo. The whole controversy surrounding cusps is the only reason why I'm not obsessed with astrology. Otherwise I would be. Having two important placements on a cusp is just confusing, and asking for criticism basically :P I like your open-minded approach. :)
