Cutting nails on Sunday brings misfortune. Cutting them Tuesday helps pay off loans faster, cutting on friday helps relationship. In some case astrologers advise cutting nails on Saturday to get rid off bad debts. Cutting and washing hair Fridays is beneficial. Generally wash hair on Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

Traditionally speaking, we don't cut hair or nails or throw out waste on fridays and during sandhya(evening time) as it is the time of Maa Lakshmi... Further hair/nails are not cut on Tuesdays and on the day we were born.... I thought cutting hair or nails on saturday was best coz it is considered day of cleaning.... I will change it now...only Wed for me..

A lot of people saying we don't follow much rules as such and are fine are missing the point as usual. Here they clearly discussed that it's not necessary to follow. Folks with certain combination only need to be mindful meaning they are facing serious issues in managing unexplainable behavior or situations. In such science related to planets or directions it's relevant only if it's hampering your life altogether not otherwise. If knowing genuine information can aide you then why not.
