Very informative interview with Robert Coleman, I would like to add that Alex Rosner Designed and installed the sound system at Better Days after Tee Scott started playing there in 1972(Taking over for Bert Lockett), Also, Robert Coleman mentioned,”Empire Skating ring”, In Brooklyn, Tee Scott and Big Bob used to play there during the 80’s, The first mobile Dj’s to have a Richard Long sound systems were Donny Lawrence(From East Elmhurst,Queens), and the Disco Twins(From Astoria,Queens), During the mid To late 70’s, Donny Lawrence was one of the first Dj’s to have,”The turntable console coffin”, Sound system designed by Richard Long during the mid 70’s and the Disco Twins acquired the,”Turntable console coffin”, System in 1979, Here’s afew names of some Of the Dj’s who were playing at clubs in NYC That Had Richard Long sound systems, “Ce Soir”, By Worth st and Broadway, Near the Brooklyn Bridge and Pace college, John Monaco was the resident Dj during the late 70’s to mid 80’s, “Melons”, By Union Square On 16thst, Derrick Davidson was the resident Dj at,”Melons”, During the late 70’s to early 80’s, Tee Scott used to play at,”Melons”, On Thursday and Sunday nites via Mike Stone parties from 1980-1982, Also, Boyd Jarvis worked at,”Melon”, During the late 70’s/early 80’s.
