I was just thinking how he is one of the few people who can get through to my emotions when I'm usually just cold-hearted as a defense mechanism but also genuinely just stoic and not very expressive lol This was very inspiring and can make a huge difference in how we move forward. I'm finishing my first Saturn return as he moves out of Aquarius and one thing I learned that Chris also helps me remember is that yes logic is great but logic is one of the things that makes his "reasoning" beings but so do our feelings and emotions. Tapping into them has been scary AF but so liberating!

My dad has Saturn in Pisces and this describes him so well. He was having a cardiac stress test, which. is given in several stages. He was in the waiting area to go back in for the next stage and I asked him how the last stage had gone because he looked terrible. He said it had been pretty uncomfortable. I said "Oh I'm sorry you're going through this" and he practically spat at ne "I don't need your pity!" So I shook my head and went back out to run some errands. Right after that, the doctor had to call an ambulance to take him for an emergency heart cath. He is fine now but this experience has helped him accept help. I don't consider him a burden, but his fear of being a burden or a victim certainly makes him difficult to help or care for!

Baby Left at the Church Door Syndrome... Oh my, Christopher, this hits so close to home for me. Literally. My dear, late grandmother was sent to live in a convent at age 8, during a time of financial hardship for her family. They were in turn compensated financially by the church. She remained in the convent until age 23, when she requested exit so that she may honor God's calling to become a wife and a mother. As long as I've known her, she has battled the demons of abandonment, and fear of rejection. Hardships of any kind- financial, emotional, etc- would push her into a dark pit of coping mechanisms... which of course, sprayed from her like buckshot- piercing innocent bystanders (us). Due to these behaviors, which were indeed toxic, most of my family gifted her her worst fear- they cut ties with her and she died mostly alone. I think that because i was able to see *through* her coping mechanisms and into the *root* of her behaviors, I was never as compelled to cut ties. My heart is still broken knowing the pain and absolute betrayal she had to endure from her own family and also from what should have been the epitome of a safe space- the church. Ugh. I'm now in tears, wondering why I've rambled on so to strangers on the internet... but instead of deleting, I'm going to be brave and hit enter. Not even sure why. 🖤

I hadn’t recognised Saturn as a friend until right now, cos: in my most difficult moments when small, I had a sense of a profoundly loving protective energy that enfolded and contained my innermost being and kept my soul safe, despite what my body endured. Your description of Saturn in Pisces exactly describes that energy - and now I see that it is Saturn who has been my greatest friend, protector and benefactor!!! 💗 Huge thanks 🙏🏼 Sun/Saturn/Chiron in Pisces(opp Virgo Pluto/Uranus & sq Gemini Jupiter)

Thank you for linking Saturn with self fulfilling prophecy that was very helpful to visualise. I actually had a very literal experience of Saturn at the anaretic degree of Aquarius moving through my 12th house also conjunct mercury in Pisces where my neighbour crossed the border of his land (naively and illegally!) into mine and cut down a tree on my property. It took me a few days to recover from what I experienced as a violation and I certainly felt like a victim. I see the impact of Pisces/12th house on Saturn as something that potentially weakens Saturn’s ability to stand guard between worlds borders or between property lines in my case. That was so beautifull, so profound. I really think you are a great master of the human understanding. Listening to you is a moving experience, a blessing. The relation with the expression of pain is indeed complicated. Years ago, I used to express pain with anger. Nowadays I still feel a little guilty and ashamed but I manage to express It. The result of doing so is being despised by some but It also allows others to express there vulnerability. Now I think there are moments to be strong but there are also some moments not to be strong in order to recognise our real feelings and be able to know ourselves. Thank you so much, Christopher!

I have Pluto at 0° in my 12th house. I also have Saturn conjunct my Sun in the 4th house. I think I'm the only one of my 6 siblings that fully felt the heaviness and sadness my mother carried for having endured a childhood with an alcoholic father who would disappear and then reappear. When he was present, there was frequent if not constant discord, and plenty of shouting between her parents. I never even knew the details or the extent of it till I was in my 50's, and my aunt told me about it. My mother said very little about her past, and even though she raised us very differently, and had a good husband, I could see her underlying sadness, even when i was young. I don't know what she did exactly to make a home so improved for us, but she's gone now, and I'm impressed. It must have been very difficult for her to make a rather good life for us. I was there when she died of cancer at age 79, and her anxiety surfaced on her deathbed. She worried that she hadn't done enough good in her life and wanted to live longer and prove herself, mostly to God, even though she had been a faithful fundamentalist Christian. It makes me sad. I do spend most of my time alone when I'm not working.

I have sun directly opposite Saturn in pisces, within one degree, so I'm going through my first Saturn return right now. It has been horrible. One catastrophic, life ruining disaster after another. I'm a resilient person but now I'm so tired I wish it would just stop. I always thought if I worked hard on myself and tried to understand the saturnian lessons in my life, then the Saturn return wouldn't be so bad. I was wrong

Absolutely fantastic Christopher. So much clarification, so well explained. I’ve not heard such a revealing look at Saturn, ever. This is important to me as I have Saturn in Aquarius in my 12th house. Double challenge. Just completed my second Saturn return, only to have it enter my first 😅. The first Saturn return was challenging however at that age, I had no idea about astrology, but was not too perturbed! The late 80’s and Sydney Australia was in it’s prime! Not inclined to partake in it’s offerings during my 2nd 😉. As I listen, again, to your expose of Saturn with it in Pisces, my 1st house (6 planet stellium), all I can say is “happy Mardi Gras”!! Month long celebration starting in 2 days. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽✌🏽👍🏽😁

Deeply insightful and serendipitous as only it can be! In a rigorously mystical way that it resonates with me oddly enough as I interpret it personally and definitely on point, today's episode on Saturn in Pisces by the incomparable excellent Christopher Renstrom!

Most wonderful lesson ever❤️❤️❤️Like was directed to me,first I love Saturn and always understood it as planet that protects you(at least for me!),so nice the way you put it in words! Also, I really don’t like people that play the role of victim all the time, and I don’t allow myself to be a victim, don’t want anyone feeling sorry for me🤔Saturn in the first house would fit this description ?The best 12th house explanation!Thank you so much!Saving it to listen again 🙏

This is interesting at the end. My answer to people who play the victim and what bothers me about that is that they aren't tapping into their own soul, and recognizing the potential they have they gave up on. It also caused them to ignore people who crossed paths with them that provided opportunity or advice they didn't see because they were closed minded. But it isn't their fault, they grew up in an environment that influenced them that way..so as a Pisces my reaction isn't anger, it's trying to get their perspective on what causes them to feel that way. I love to open conversation with people about why they are who they are. Some people know exactly their reasons and what they experienced where they can spit it out right away, and others have the same reasons but they didn't really live it or blame others and they just put it on their backs to carry based on what others say or tell them, and because no one helped them know how to move forward..and instead of exploring who they really are they let others influence them .As a Pisces I empathize with everyone, literally think of a serial killer .. I don't feel bad for them however I feel intrigued to understand how they became that way in the first place. Now to try and relate to when you said to think about what bothers us when people says they are victims to dig deep and it's probably your own feeling of abandonment that was interesting..but what came to mind was how I feel when Oprah says shes oppressed, and that's a victim hood comment. I mean a female, black, billionaire. Perhaps she used to be but it bothers me when I ( as a Pisces)sees her portray this through current times and the victim hood makes me wonder why she doesn't speak about empowerment instead of victim hood. That is probably the answer to why those who feel like a victim with out actually being one happens. When they are listening to the doom and gloom from a billionaire or first lady or star basketball player it's normal to spread the hopelessness. I am hoping you can shed light on why that bothers me. kzbin.info/www/bejne/sJW1ioNolt-oaLc

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts Lak Cunha. I like the way you open conversations with people about why they are who they are. I think it's something we could all learn from - including the people being asked. 🙂 I think the fact that people react to the word "victim" in so many different ways speaks to the deep chord it strikes in all of us. That's the conversation that Saturn in Pisces brings up by its transit and it's one we will all be wrapping our hearts and minds around in the next couple of years. 😊

I have Venus in Capricorn in the 12th house. Of all the outer planets and Saturn transiting over Venus, Saturn (twice) is the most difficult... many separations through death and breaking up of relationships. No drug or alcohol addiction but addiction to comfort food and spending money I don't have

As a moon conjunct Saturn individual who over time has become Saturn’s friend. May I dare to say that you Sir, have so well described my friend, and have aptly expanded on how Saturn can rejoice and say Hurray! in the 12th house. If I may speak on behalf on Saturn “ Haha! Where else can I wield my sword more than in the house of self undoing and self sabotage…. I can blissfully help you wreck the damages you so eagerly wish…..Well, until you come to your senses, then I can leave you alone (Lesson learned)😂. Thank you Sir, for this delightful lecture.

this may be generational, I look forward to your thoughts in a future video possibly, pisces fish here- my mother was born in 1937… she would say, “when you stop being the victim and look within your soul what is the list of everything you will change in your future; take responsibility and change you.” She would not allow the thought of an external situation to be voiced. Her position was I will listen to you and our discussion will be around your responsibility after you’ve gone within”. LOVE your videos❤ #grateful

Very beautiful, thought-provoking analysis. Astrology in a hole, completely new level. Not the usual new age crap. You must have a big library in your house.

As I hate to speak on this subject..what Mr. Restroom has stated in reference to trauma and slavery and its effects rings true. This man understands astrologically....cause and effect of one of America's most tragic episodes in history. Hopefully some will understand the repercussions as he tries to explain from an astrological point of view.

Thank you for this! When you mentioned the light house I said to myself Christopher always delivers! I have Saturn in Pisces with a Pisces moon as well and I am a Capricorn rising so this transit i will surly feel on a physical and spiritual level . Transiting Saturn is right now triggering my Jupiter in the 12 house and opposing my mercury so triggering my T-square. As a child watching the hunchback of Notre Dame and I would wish that I could jump into the screen and hug Quasimodo! My Leo sun related to Esmeralda, put my Pisces related to Quasimodo lol. This video was amazing and you always do an amazing job! ❤❤❤❤❤

Having my Saturn in Pisces I can agree that when someone plays victim it drives me nuts, but that’s only when I know the person to be a liar /manipulator and has others convinced of so. Others expressing their hardships and pain, I actually want to hear and give empathy. I don’t want to give empathy to inauthentic people.
