My Saturn is in the 1st house in Scorpio and while I was never made to work extra hard or carry a lot of responsibility, I grew up in a rather cold home and spontaneous, natural expression wasn't nurtured - rather discouraged I would say. My mom was a perfectionist at work as a school head master and maintaining an external facade was important to her. My parents didn't love each other and I while I was always provided for, I was mostly left to my own devices in terms of parental guidance and love and affection. I'm 61 soon, so I've lived a lot, and so much of this has come up in my life, but I feel I had a protection over me that nothing touched my life too drastically. My Saturn is in the 4th house, Aquarius, and I never learned how to set boundaries. My grandma lived with us and my father always had health problems being away a lot (sun 8th house). I didn’t have to take on direct responsibility, but always had a feeling to be the glue. I never wanted to own a property and that would stem from an inherent fear of responsibility. Actually, Saturn in 8th house is absence of fear of dying/death. Saturn is resilient, “neutral” and disciplined - it makes the person very resilient and can handle death and transformation in a calm and stoic way. I still have difficulty to save my energy while I am with people, working in a school environment where I sometimes need to be standing really close to the pupil. It makes me tired, I probably take in there energy. Saturn in the 1st in Sag ;) That's interesting how you mention all these things. My birth was difficult. I was very serious-minded and shy as a child. I had to understand the adult life at an early age, because my family was dysfunctional. My natal Saturn squares Moon, which translates into almost constant feelings of anxiety and worry, as well as difficult relationships with women. It’s actually such a beautiful placement. Yes, there is a lot of perceived, external “failure” but every relationship transformed me and it made me work in self-worth issues. Each partner has been significantly more aligned to the highest version of myself. It’s a blessing in disguise to have this challenged Saturn here (retrograde at 0 degrees Piscis) but it’s also very cleansing as if my karmas get purified in relationships. In whole sign, it’s in the cusp of the 8th and debt has been a major problem too. So wild!

I feel you girl! My Saturn is highly challenged in the 7H as well. I’m single right now. I’ve been through more heart break, relationships and bs than the average person. This placement is brutal. Not to mention, it is negatively aspected to our 1H, 4H and 10H so there are issues there as well for the entire life. Feels like the work towards self never ends. But the lessons have been transformational I will say. I feel more ready for a relationship now more than ever, I just don’t care to have one anymore after everything I’ve personally been through.

so funny. I have Saturn in the 3rd house ruled by Capricorn. I was a teacher and in fact I often seem to find myself in a teaching position every place I go. I'm likely to even be teaching someone random in the grocery store! I always thought it was interesting that my sister is a Capricorn and my 3rd house is ruled by Capricorn. Both my sister and I have Saturn in the 10th. I feel like I'm very familiar with how it shows up for both of us. There are a lot of weird boundary issues involved with people of authority. Although my placement is a lot more wishy-washy since it is in Pisces, while hers is in Taurus. On the one hand, for how I show up to others in the world, I know that I straight up intimidate most people as I can come across as stoic especially since Saturn is squaring my Ascendant. For some of my friends its a running joke that I appear as an ice queen in demeanor when I am actually just friendly as a Gemini rising. On the other hand, it is often that I come across boundary issues from others and catch people off guard when I set up boundaries as if it came from out of nowhere. Both my sister and I are known for having rather serious expressions when we are focusing on something so it's funny when we realize people are reacting to that. My sister on the other hand deals with moving in a far more structured and slow pace with her career and even with how long it takes for her to eat. 😂 She truly savors her experiences and when it comes to work itself she may be slower at times, but masters everything efficiently. Both of us do come across as people to go to for authority, and those in authority positions; if they're not receptive to who we are as individuals, push back on our progress. There's often times workloads get dumped on us just because they know we will get it done and it brought us delays for our efforts to be recognized. I've said to my sister that eventually we just straight up have to become our own bosses someday to have some sort of semblance of relief from others. 😅

Saturn in the 3rd, conjunct Jupiter. for the first part of my childhood, i wished for a sibling, the second half of my childhood was spent as a babysitter. The strain on our relationship got mended around my first saturn return. I had to learn that I was not responsible for my sibling and really process how messed up the situation was before I could heal.

Saturn is in my 8th house. My mom died when I was 6 and it deeply affected me as a kid. I wonder if Saturn bring in opposition to my moon also means something. I've also had a weird mixture of financial issues with debt but wonderful blessings with inheritances and other people giving me money. My dad just paid off my credit card debt and made me promise to close the account which I've done. I do have the astroid fortuna in my 8th house too. My two sons have Saturn in their 1st house and my daughter in her 4th house. I wonder if them being homeschooled has something to do with a strong sense of responsibility. People often say how responsible my kids are now that they're in their early 20s where a lot of young people are partying and living it up. Also, their dad had quite high standards with them growing up.

I have Saturn in the 3rd house I was bullied relentlessly in school took me forever to learn to drive spoke at a late age and I had a really really really hard time speaking during arguments (my family was really emotionally abusive) my older siblings bullied me too and I had a lot of depression and it was so hard to connect with people anxiety it was horrible 😩
